Group A: Vegged 26 Days, Currently Day 57 of Flower
Group B: Currently Day 25 and 20 of Flower
Group C: Currently Day 20 of Veg
Group D: Currently Day 1 of Veg

So Group A, when the lights go out tonight, I will put her in darkness for 24 hours, then I will harvest tomorrow!

Group B, they are doing fine. Much taller than I would like though. Buds forming nicely on the normal one, and the mutant is progressing slowly, but still progressing. Both of the plants from Group B will be moved under the main lights when lights go on tomorrow.

As shown in a prior pic, Group C has made little progress. I added some 'Blood Meal' to the soil, and she started growing again and developing some green. So we'll see if it will grow?

Group D sprouted this morning. So I moved them into the light. You can see the pictures of both Group C and D below.

ready for some harvest pics!!
By this time tomorrow you should see some nice ones!

I just pulled my two girls out of the cab. They'll get about 24 hours of shut eye, then I'll start getting her ready to hang up for the dry. Here are some shots at how she looks. I let them go a bit wilder than I wanted. ;)

Most of my herb has been hanging now for about 2 days. It will probably be hanging for another 12 days before it's dry enough to be stored in my mason jars.

But naturally I have to try out a few nugs that were too small to bother hanging with some quick dry. I used to use a box with a PC fan and that works fine.

I was messing around and found a pretty cool way of drying that will get it done in less than 24 hours for a quick dry.

I took a sock, cut it, stuffed it with some freshly cut herb, tied it off, and hung it in front of a vent. 12 hours later, had some stuff that is usable. Of course it won't have half the potency probably of the herb after a proper cure, but that's not what a "quick dry" is about ;)

I just grabbed a bag of FF Ocean Forrest. I've had problems with FF in the past beating the crap out of my seedlings, so this time I'll just be transplanting my seedlings potted with "Organic Miracle Grow" Soil into the larger FF pots.

Also I've never been big on nutes, so I just got a bottle of FF's "Big Bloom" to see how that goes.

Thanks for stoppin by. My temps with the HPS were getting pretty high. I was measuring right at the top of the buds. A guide recommended that for a 150HPS, the plant be a max closeness of 4" from the light. At that distance, the temps could be between 76-90 with the lights on. I would say with my grow box, the thing I regret the most is not building in enough height for the size of plants I like to grow, as I'm not such a fan of the amount of work it took to limit the height of my buds.

As for autos, I really don't need to for my situation since I have that really small vegging chamber I've built which runs on a diff light schedule, so I can keep rotating plants into the Flowering Chamber. Based on my last crop, My next crop will be ready in another 30 days, so I should be able to have a harvest every month and half or so!!

I dont know how much light you'd get from 2 CFLs that big, but that is a lot of wattage! I figure if you're using that many watts, you should be growing some BIG plants. At which point the general consensous seems to be a nice big HPS, and at which point for that many watts, you should be growing in a much larger cab.

I'm no expert, but in something as small as my cab, I can't imagine anything bigger than a 250W HPS. In my case, I had a few buds that got closer than the 4" minimum distance, and the tops of my plants started turning very light green, like they were getting too much light and getting bleached.
