the lower leaves that do this once in a while is totally natural. just part of the plant (any plant) life cycle. thats a trip how they seem to wake up after you water huh?
Please HELP! First grow - Weird Uneven Nodes - and "Blister" leaves?

I forgot to mention that I put the plant on 12/12 lighting. I need to sex it, and if it is a female, I'll keep it on 12/12 as the space I Have to use, will be getting cut very close once it doubles/triples in size.
Im keeping my fingers crossed though... i need it to be a fem...
i do have a germinated seedling going. it's called kandy kush. it's a fem seed.
I need this all to work out...

Well, something bad happened... Apparently, my brand new (not even 2 weeks old) light timer went bad... what even worse, is it happened 20 minutes before it was to turn on for it's 12/12 cycle. so basically, my plant has had 21 hours of darkness... is this a bad thing? i've replaced the bad timer with a new one that works (hopefully forever).
I was just wondering how bad this could be. I also believe there are a few pistils showing... not sure yet though.

ARE THESE PISTOLS??Great. After replacing the timer, everything is working fine.
I have some pictures that I believe are newly grown pistils.. but want to make sure,
what do you all think?
I also have my Kandy Kush planted, it is showin its first set of true leaves, and you can barley make out the second set starting to form. need to transplant to it's permanent home here soon.
I'll post the pics of the kandy kush soon, maybe not tonight though.
Here's the pics of what I hope and pray to be pistils.

Well, everything seems to be going great. my bagseed newly sexed female looks to be doing quite well, and I just changed her over to her floweing nutes. Kinda tight on cash so I didnt get to get anything good. it's some of the local hydro store's own product. they seem to make a generic of almost everything they stock, so I bought something with 0-50-30. im not sure if this is too high, but I figured it was the only thing I could get, I wanted to get some bat guano, but damn that stuff is expensive...
I guess when I look at it, I could spend a little more money to do things right, and save myself more money in the long run, with better quality, and yields. this being my first I doubt i'll get anything good out of it... but it's looking very good and healthy to me. with the exceptions of the bundled mess of little leaves growing, that just dont seem to be strong at all. some are twisted into other growings, and it's just a mess in there, should I clean it up? if so, what should I be pruning off specifically, the little puney looking growing leaves, or what?
I also Transplanted my Kandy Kush into her new home. she's looking mighty fine aswell if I do say so myself.

leav the inner growth there man, only when a leaf turns yellow and starts to die is when you cut it off or just let it fall off. they look real good and healthy. good job and plus rep+

Alright, it's been quite a while since I've put anymore pictures up so I figured I'd throw some up here.
My badseed female is doing great. she is growing really really big while she is sleeping. I'm having to raise my lights every day it seems. There are many many many white pistils showing so im completely excited with this being my first grow and all.
As for the Kandy Kush, I did what K2 talked about, and started to LST. Im hoping im doing it all right, and it will work out great. it already looks very strong and lucious.

Thanks, Im really considering stopping the LST. Im trying to find additional inforation regarding how to do it properly, but cannot. the first link you sent me doesnt have the illustrated drawing like it did before. the picture is a dead link now or has been removed.
Im just completely unsure of what to do about the leaves and stuff that will and are starting to grow. do I pin those down to the soil as well? I just dont want to do this wrong, so I may just take it out and wait until my next grow to try this.
My big girl is doing great though. every morning she is getting so many white pistils coming off. Im definitely going to need to change my grow spaces around though.
my "flowering room" (box) is just in too crazy of a space and its hard for me to raise my lights... Maybe I should invest in chains?? lmao. it's hard to tie a knot while your holding your light at the position it needs to be in.. especially in a 3' wide space, where I need to be cattywampusto even get good access to it.
I need a different, bigger vegging area,as I really only have room for one plant and all the lights and one fan.
Im not wanting really alot of plants going at all. I guess two is perfect for me atm, but I definitely need more space. It gets pretty hot in my vegging area because there isnt much spacce at all... maybe 2'H x 1'W x 2'L.
Either way... hope all is well with your grow ops.

Down at the bottom of the message window on the left is a little "sheriffs badge" Click it at the bottom of whoevers post you want to leave rep for.
As for the LST...you are doing fine with it so no need to take it out...just leave a bit more space between tie down spots. Leave the leaves and when they start getting to big just tuck them under.

Alright, I have a quick question... it seems as if my baby's leaves are curling inward. Could this possibly be a root bound (pot bound) symptom? I noticed it lastnight, and watered her this morning. it's been hours and still no response... im thinking it could be either that, or maybe something else.. but im really not sure what else it could be..

Well, I guess noone has the answer, or any opinion about my question. the top leaves are still pretty straight and pointy... but the middle and lower leaves are all basically pointed at the ground...
is it possible that this is due to a lack of light in the lower areas? I use to have 2 large watt CFL's pointed there, but now changed to one... Im almost thinking the change happened around that time I changed and took out the second light... maybe I will need to buy another... or maybe because it's flowering, it's something that's normal.
This being my first grow... I have absolutely no clue..

I do believe it's a 3L maybe 5L.
Yeah, she is right under 1 1/2 ft.
I didnt want to give her a huge pot, because I kind of wanted to limit the space she had to grow.. but apparently, if it's too small, and cramped... the plant will die..
Can't say I remember hearing about that. Most people would just say, small pot = smaller plant. lol.
I will see if I can't find a bigger square pot this weekend.. Is transplanting during flowering normal, and ok to do?
