The problem seems to be that most people buying Nirvana think they are getting the exact same thing that everyone else charges more for. No point in arguing becuase they will argue till they are blue in the face.
Serious Seeds is all I mess with anymore, I get good quality, good phenos everytime, so they may cost more but I know what I'm getting everytime. You may need 3 packs of Nirvana to get a good pheno, but hey it still costs the same as one pack of serious seeds, right ? It boils down to time, do you want to grow 30 plants to find one good one or 10 plants to find one good one ?
Then you have people that claim to get good phenos from nirvana out of every pack.
It just boils down to everyone wants what they use to be the best and will argue and make up facts trying to support it and convince others what they use is the best.
I've used both and I'm sticking with serious seeds, you can call me dumb and tell me I'm wasting my money but I know what to expect everytime and everytime I smoke with anyone they are blown away. What else can I ask for ? Then you'll get some one who like nirvana get one here and preach that they bought some AK48's and they grew 16 foot tall and yielded 8 pounds of bud and was the best stuff they have ever had.
Basically most people are going to BS some about the brand they prefer, try them both and see what you lke the best. I bet in blind test and you didn't know which was which and you didn't pay for it, I bet I know which one you'd pick.
That's my opinion, no need to get in a big argument over it after all we are supposed to be family on this site.

I said that, corrected myself, because I have grown it and think it's an AWESOME strain, perhaps my favorite for crossing in fact, but I checked out your grow... why would you try to prove me wrong with pictures of some yellowing babies that, as far as I know, never even came to fruition
Please don't show that log to any potential AK-48 growers because it might unjustly turn them off to the strain entirely.

I have a perpetual grow and am running "Pure AK" from Female seeds. I have no idea if its ak47 or 48......all I know is that I love it. Grows fast and easy, finishes fast w/ a very nice yield. Nice bag appeal, smell and packs a nice wallop for a buzz.
The strain seems real stable, they all look, grow smell and taste pretty much the same. I have one that does have a bit of a fruity smell.

The pack of Pure Ak is by far the most inexpensive beans Ive gotten. It is as good or better than 90% of the seeds ive run, all of which cost 2-3 times as much as the gear from FMS. I highly recommend the strain and breeder.

and before going into the jar to cure,gotta love it when the stems are covered in trichs

I like this pheno I have, Female Seeds Pure AK at 40 days.....has a fruit smell unlike any of the other AK's I have. Also more trichomes than all the others.

Now they offer more variety, (666, serious 6)

LOL yeah man, breeding isnt rocket science or anything....All I know is that the gear from FMS is super cheap and can definitely stand up to or exceed beans from other breeders that cost 2-3 times as much.
