You and I both can't wait. I read great things about this strain, that was why I wanted to give it a go and see for myself. Very hearty so far, and easy to grow.pics are looking good. cant wait for bud growth. that AK-48 is something im looking out for breeding purposes. will you do a smoke report?

As good as you are doing for your first grow, I'd say you've earned it!
We're getting there aren't we, just a little longer and we'll be taking pictures of the buds! I can't wait to have something to contribute to Golden's organic bud thread!

Some of the leaves on these plants are just incredible, such a lush green color, and the size! Good Grief! I'm used to long dainty sativa leaves and then these monsters come along in this grow! I'm tempted to chop one and laminate it just to be silly.
I can just hear it now though, "no officer, I'm not growing cannabis, I just happen to have a real life leaf dipped in plastic." busted.

In other news, I moved the fan speed controller over to the 170cfm fan that's connected to the carbon filter... the filter is rated for 45cfm and the fan is pulling 170cfm which is more then enough for a 3x3x6 area... to put it lightly, my garage smelled like a freakin' arm pit. Strait up weed funk. I figured that I was pulling air out of the tent at such a rate that it couldn't get enough contact with the carbon in the filter. After turning it down a good bit, I've noticed a much better smell over all (I was sucking out air way too fast), between doing that and opening up a large bottle of ONA gel I think I can manage this stinky strain. The entire reason I started to turn the fan down was because things were going to be so cold this week, I was worried that I was yanking out any heat that was building up in the tent. Things are slightly warmer then they were (in the tent), which is cool because that's what I was going for, but thankfully I helped my carbon filter do it's job better as well! Sweet! lol, I just ordered another one right before too cause I was worried this one would run out of juice in the middle of flower,... now I'm set, get stinky girls!

lol, thanks! why does seeing those little dots make me feel cool? Maybe because the USA has its head up its ass with its cannabis laws and is making a criminal out of me with its current policy so I can't talk about gardening and have to keep it a secret? yea, maybe that's why.

Pre-watered tonight with my brew, I included some Mexican bat guano since I'll be going into flower soon, I think I'll finish watering later... that bucket that drains to all my plants with hoses idea, remember that? I think I'm gonna make it happen. Then once a week I brew, pour it into a bucket, then unzip, vacume, and go about my day.... pretty simple chore in order to receive a few ounces of completely organic cannabis
