http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/Itemdesc.asp?ic=TEMDOINTD&eq=&Tp=Wish i could go away and come back in bout 4 weeks!
I added CAL-MAG PLUS to my "special brew" of shit that I put into my RO water. I want to make sure my ladies are happy and getting everything they need. On top of that I'm using molasses, Pro Bloom, and Black Magic. I'm at full recommended doses on all products and a tsp of molasses per gallon. I "super cropped" 3 branches on one of my WW's. I've been doing it to some select branches along the way and they seem to take it with no problems. I' ve got picks. And by super cropping I mean bending the branch back and forth till it lays over at a 90 degree angle exposing all the bud sites to the light. The lil Exile is filling out nicely and is already swimming with trichs. What I find odd is that the Blueberry Gum is suposed to be the earliest finisher yet its the slowest as far as resin or trich formation goes. It's starting to come on stronger now though.
What is the chemical make-up of molasses? Does it have Ca, Mg, and Fe in it? I went to my local hydro store today to buy Botanicare's Sweet but when I told him I was currently using Black Magic (which was $117 for a liter) he said to keep my money bc I didn't need Sweet bc the Black Magic, on top of being a Pk booster 0-20-21, also had the same L-amino acids and other shit that Sweet and other like products had in them as well. He said I could continue to use the molasses though for an extra rush of sugars as long as I didn't overdo it. I went online looking for info on the manufacture of this product and found a phone number. I called it and got the owner. The name of the company is Microbrewed Fertilizers and Black Magic is their flagship product. Bing it and u will find it. Anyway, They are a local and very young company. Their products are made in Fla. A year ago I went to the store to ask about Bloombastic (man is that shit expensive!) and the guy turned me on to BM. He said it was made to do the same thing only better. It's clear liquid and easily water-soluable. My 3rd grow I did a side by side run. Plants with BM and plants without. There was a nice noticable difference in size and denity. Also more aromatic. I'm very pleased with the product. Don't forget my question about the make-up of molasses though, lol. I got long-winded. I talked to that guy for a while though. He was full of useful information. He def knew his shit.hell yeah mass, looking great, i like the bud on a stick pic, LoL. one thing though, from what ive read, the molasses is used instead of the cal-mag plus, just be careful not to lock out other nutes by using to much.
CD u always have such good info. Thank you man! so I really should take the cal mag back outta the equation then if the molasses has the same shit in it, right? I use Grandma's too, yellow label.
Glad to see you stop by. Just a matter of weeks now. My KK healed up nicely and smells UNBELIEVABLE! How did urs end up smoking?Looking great bro, I haven't forgot about ya I'll be keeping my eye out for when you harvest!!
So does that mean I should remove the calmag from my mix?id say you will be ok for about the first week but after that you will more than likely see a few issues with your sun leaves followed by the fan leaves. well this is what i experienced at least when i first added molasses to my mix (which had decent amount of Cal Mag in it)
just for topic sake ...
so there goes $19 bucks on a product i didn't need. You live, you learn.
Ur welcome, lol. The molasses cost me what, like two or 3 bucks or something. It's like, so what do I do with the bottle now? Just let it sit on the shelf till I throw it away cause its been there for a couple years w/o being used, cause I expect that's what will probably happen to it now, lol. I could've of bought a fatter sack with that $20!
