Ok, i tried cloning some other plants and they have not rooted yet. I think i took the cuttings from the wrong area or to high up the plant. either way i must veg it before I can try again. However, this girlfreind (Lemon) she looks good. She was smaller than the pick when I got her. She started with me on the on a 18/6 veg for 7 days Now she is on 24/0 veg for about 3 days. I would guess she has double in height. I was wondering if she is ready to be clipped for cloning..

THIS IS NOT SARCASM OK.......
if you cut off a leaf on a bit of stalk , it will grow roots, you can clone anything, obviously you need to take clippings with nodes on so they grown into plants but any plant matter will clone, if that was grown from a cutting , clone when you like , if its a seedling , let it mature , hope this helps =) also some strains take a while to root , if your cuttings were to die before rooting you would tell , they wilt and droop off, good luck

I would take clones from that plant. Looks like there is atleast a few you could grab.
that plant looks to short and may not recover if he hacks to many i can only see 2 viable cuttings, i think it needs more veg, why give false advice ? when a week veg will make so much diff........ peace!

Guy's really c'mon. theres one clone on that. 4 leaflets (opposite phyllotaxi's the apical tip) second internode down ,chop it just above the node. you could do smaller ones butt they would struggle and it would be a waste of a beautiful plant. there is one really nice one on there for sure tho if your horny to clone it. I personally would wait 1 more week tho to take the one or two clippings, it's a great bushy phenotype for a mom to be profusley cloned after it's root bound in a 1 or 2 gallon pot especialy if you take that one clone on it now or in a week from now.

thanks all!!! I can wait another week. I would like to keep this as a mother and bush her, plus get a least four clones in a week from now. Then get two clones from each of those plants. Taking time to bush each of those for higher yield and potency. I wish i could get the exact strain. I work on properties and found this one and two others in a house. the tag on her said lemon. the others said 06 818, and 06 tahoe. Has anyone heard of these strains? again thanks, i ll be bck with her in a week or two. new pics. by the way she is in a 3 gal pot

No those are fore sure made up names from someone who crossed them, themselves to make it there own strain name , doesn't mean there not phenomenal tho, they have very nice potential I can see that , they excel compared to a lot of others already , Bushy Phenotype wise. I would let it get root bound in the 3 gallons or untill it seems like it's stopped growing before hacking it to a skeleton. And the Skeleton will still be good to plant outdoors this summer, it will be your biggest plant most likely, just leave some shoots on it.

You can root pretty much anything, and you can trim a mother back to just a single measly node and she'll grow right back unless you're working with horrible genetics

jeez let that thing grow up a bit, you clone that and it will take longer for it to recover if it does, and what if the clones dont live now you got a bunk palnt and
no clones

the one in the pic is called lemon. looking at the leave it is a indica. naw, i would say they got these plants from somewhere. alot of clippings (not the one in the pic) was taken possibly for cloning or removing dead leaves. I am starting to bend two cause they going to be tall (stavia, and leafs). First grow I dont know sh-t. Just read alot

give it that extra time , you could clip it now but theres no point , shes looking good so let her roll a bit , a biigger more mature plant recovers quicker this is dead cert dude not an opinion (Y)

I agree! I have Motherplants & I wait four months. So u the plant can stay healthly & be cloned for as long as you keep her a healthly queen! The MJ Bible reads: 4months! Happy growing!
