I was speaking to my friend who owns a coffeeshop in Amsterdam. There has been a lot of press about the changes that the Christian Deomcratic Party (a quite conservative and religious party) are trying to bring in.

Most of the press has centred around the changes that are trying to be implemented in the city of Maastricht, a border city basically. Maastricht actually sits surrounded by Belgium and Germany to the East. It has a lot of border traffic from people coming into Maastricht to buy weed. One coffeeshop was restricted and closed due to the excessive sales and customers(although re-opened).

It was agreed that the coffeeshops would then need to create memberships which can only be obtained with the correct local paperwork (i.e. residency)

However, the city then voted against implementing it (the Dutch are traders traditionally, it is against their nature to restrict trade!) Now we are in a situation where the Goverment where trying to implement this quickly, and it was looking like it would be brought in by the summer of 2011 in Maastricht. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

The goverment are basically dangling this over the heads of coffeeshop owners and if put through, it could be seen that in two years, only residents will be allowed to purchase.

The most recent escalation has been with the owner of the coffeeshop in Maastricht being rulled against by the EC saying that by introducing this restriction, you are effectively resticting EU citizens to be able to purchase goods in other countries. I believe due to the nature of MJ that this was overruled and it was agreed that owners could restrict sales...not really the outcome wanted.

I go to a local coffeeshop a few hundred yard from my house to buy papers and stock up on tips, anyone can buy weed there. However, if you want to stay in the coffeeshop and smoke, you need to get a membership. This includes producing residency permits and i.d. So non residents would not be allowed to smoke in this shop.

At the moment we hope for a change in Government and for this ridiculous situation to be ceased. But you are still free to smoke, buy weed and relax in coffeeshops in Amsterdam. I cannot imagine the city of Amsterdam ever happily agreeing to with the Douche bags that reside in Den Haag, the "Kakker kut wijven" that they are.

I may have waited too long to pull that male. I was rying to get something set up for him to grow in and have been concerned ever since he showed sex but when I woke up a litle while ago I figured I'd better check before lights out and sure as shit some of the sacs have opened. I very carefully picked it up to remove it and saw some pollen faling out of a couple of sacs. I set the male in my kitchen and went right back into the flower room and soaked all of the plants down really good with water hoping that if anything was pollenated it won't go any further.

I snipped some sacs off of the male in my kitchen in addition to getting a good dusting of the inside of a small apothecary jar. I just put the sacs inside the little jar, closed it up and put it in a cupboard.

I'm going to be pretty bummed if some of those girls got pollenated since they're not what I want to cross it with and I've already got some peeps waiting for what's coming from some of them.
Dezracer-I am not a big breeder just learning. Dont have the cash to buy more seed so just experimenting right now. A bit of advise that I learned the hard way. If you drop the whole sacks in to your jar then make sure to check it often till you take them out. I did something similar and in 2 days when i check it was all moldy. I am not trying to tell you how or what to do just something i learned the hard way and hope to keep it from happening to someone else. I try to catch them just before the flowers open. Cut the individual flowers into my 35mm film canister, give it anywhere from a couple of hours to a day then bang them clean when they are open and throw away the then useless flower. Then you can seal up your jar with just pollen and not worry.

Damn DST the war on weed is still on all over. Im hoping things shake out in your favor over the pond. It would be a shame to see all the progress toward making mj a normal enjoyment shoved back into the shadows and restricted. Why can the rest of the world pull their heads out from ass and face the facts of mj.???

Las looking good bro. Whats the background on K-train? If ya dont mind.

hey guys and girls

Hazey Train seeds (Super Lemon Haze x K-Train) ended up with a few more than whats in the pic :) around 30-40 or so and i've not checked the other branch i spluffed ;)

this my 1st attempt at spluffing, my k-train hermied about 4 sets of nanna's around week 3-4. i removed all but one nanna and left it on till near the end of week 4, watching it didnt explode. i took it off and rubbed the still oily pollen onto a fair few pistols. now i relalised that i didnt need to go so heavy handed with the sluffing lmao :) good little learning curve. also got about 8-10 selfed k-train seeds out of just under 2oz so can run the strain again as its not a bad all rounder :)

some info below about the genetics, all thanks to attitude seed bank http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/

They have been noticed and awarded at HighLife 2006 where Lemon Skunk won the1st place.

Smoking has a very smooth citrus flavor and a complex effect, well balanced and long-lasting. This "almost devastator" is a perfect choice for those who desire a heavy, long lasting and lethargic stoned effect.

Green House Seeds Super Silver Haze is a quality plant, it is a combination of Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze. Greenhouse Feminised Super Silver Haze Seeds is a sativa dominant cannabis hybrid with some indica characteristics. The Afghani influence from both the Skunk and the Northern Lights genetic components help to give the Super Silver Haze rather more bottom end weight to the stoned effect. For this reason it is the most indica influenced of all the Greenhouse Feminized cannabis seeds sativa varieties. The intense high leaves you gasping for reality. It's a superb quality plant with a creepy high. Powerful on the body. Flowering Time Indoors: Expect it to be ready after 11 weeks / Outdoors: In the Northern hemisphere it is ready by the beginning October while in the Southern hemisphere, it finishes by May. k-train

K-Train is a new creation of Green House Seed Company. We decided to cross the original Trainwreck with original Kush, and the result is impressive to say the least. After careful selection, we are introducing the perfect balance between these two famous strains. The K-Train is a very powerful indica strain, easy to grow and with a strong metabolism. With all the plant characteristics of the Kush and the typical oversized calyx and bud structure of the Trainwreck. The structure of the plant is mid-sized and bushy, with thick round leaves and strong stalks. The Green House K-Train has a flowering time of 9 weeks, and it’s cannabis seeds are suitable for indoor and outdoor. It can manage high EC levels. The flavour is very kushy, sweet and earthy, with moss and musk background. The effect is strong on the muscles, quite narcotic as well. It is a long lasting ride, very stoned.

Flowering Time : Medium
Outdoor Harvest : Unknown
Height : Medium
THC Level : Medium
Characteristics : The flavor is very kushy, sweet and earthy, with moss and musk background

Stoney on the body, confusing and trippy on the brain. Ready in 8 weeks, expect a lot of resin and tower-like calyx formation deforming the buds in the final stages of ripening. It's cannabis seeds flower outdoor in beginning October, with stretchy branches and long shaped colas. Production up to 70 grams per plant. Train Wreck is a truly powerful smoke.

Thanks for the update D.

It's looking like just about everything in the vert room got 'spluffed' as you guys say. The pistils on almost every bud of almost every plant are dying off prematurely which I remember one of you saying happens when spluffed. I pulled and chopped five plants today, 2 Cat Kush that were 12/12 from seed, 1 Headband that was 12/12 from seed, a Jack Herer that was 12/12 from rooted clone and a WW that was 12/12 from rooted clone. Sadly I canned the JH and WW since there were lots of dead gnats in them. The others didn't have any whatsoever which seemed weird to me but whatever.

I will be sorting through everything in the room tonight and canning anything that has dead bugs in it. Just seems gross to me so there out of here. I'll spray the rest down once more, move them to the new place in a tent and bomb my entire garage tonight. I'll clean everything in my garage and start over. Going to pick up some go gnats or equivalent today to start using too. It's all good since I've had a relatively low amount of insect problems up to now, just not sure where they came from.

Going to spluff a couple branches on of the Afghan plants in the scrog once the flowers are ready with the RBC pollen. They've all started forming flowers but still very small.

Nothing but a thing Dez. It is nice when i can help someone else for a change. I have spent most of my time asking for help from the master growers like DST, Mr West, Riddleme and too many more to list. Glad to be of service. I lurk alot reading and learning so i dont post as much. I have only been growing seriouly for about a year. I was always taught you learn more with your mouth closed and ears open, or in this case your eyes open and fingers still.

I lurk more than post as well. Not just on RIU either. RIU is the only site I actually post on though.

I checked the little jar after my last post and almost every pollen sac had opened with no signs of mold so I shook it lightly to get as much of the pollen sticking to the jar as I could ad then dumped the sacs into a little container and tossed them out. I now have a nice little blue jar that's lined with pollen. Stoked

EDIT: I tend to only lurk on the threads I'm subbed to these days though. Found a nice group of people that are willing to help anyone who asks it seems. These are good people and I'm at the point in my life where I don't need drama so I'll try to stick around and absorb what I can and help where I can.

True Males Can take over another females genetics. If you have a dominate one keep its seeds around, Its 3-4 genarations form IBL instead of 5-6.

F1! Good Question!
F1 Males, I see more of the mother in these crosses with Stabilty lowered I end up culling 75% of stock in about weeks 1-3 of 10on-14off.
BUT the other 25% F2 seem to make up very a Stable F3. Just Dont feel bad about Culling. they are not animals.

F1 Females are flowed out never full harvested but tasted and sampled and chosen like the HTCC in your personal time. you'll know which female to keep for mothering(clones) and which to keep for breeding seeds for your next F2

You still have some choices about the type of breeding you wanna do. Do you want an IBL? or Do you want Hybrid Vigor?
