whats up everybody got a couple grow threads going, my perpetual flood and drain tables and THIS lol always loved DWC started in DWC and will always have the love for it for sure its one of my favorites. i am using a very simple setup for my DWC grow and its only a single girl(royal purple) and she is very healthy and right around 3' tall with a 5 week veg time. pretty bushy as well i have heard about everybody's massive plants and their yields(i grow sog mostly) so i want to test it all for sure if she yields me more than one of my tables i might consider changing my game plan anyway let me tell you what i got going on

room-flower room is a 8'Lx8'Wx7'T pitched roof shed outside of the house with plenty of security.
nutes-flora nova grow/bloom veg/flower with HG bud XL additive(for flower) at week 3 and so on
light-400W hps light with magnetic ballast(xtrasun) over just her in my flower room.
system-very simple 5 gal bubble bucket(home depot bucket) 4 outlet top fin o2 pump(pets mart) 2 4" round stones prably going to just put 2 more for the fun of it.
temps-room stays steady 75 F and res temps at 66 F constant.
exhaust-a 97 CFM running my other two air cooled 400w hps's pver my trays but pulls air from room.

if you want any more pics or have ??? feel free to ask just put this girl in here for kicks never grown a monster before so looking forward to it and she has only been in the flower room for a day now any ? or comments are welcome just want to say love DWC and am very excited.

Excellent! Looking forward to watching this grow my fellow Home depot bucket grower! She's 3 ft tall when you're putting her into flower? That girls gonna get BIG :) How quickly does she suck up all her water?

thanks man ya she is nearing 3 foot she is about 33 inches now i just put her in two days ago but since then i just added about 1 gallons of 1/4 strength nutes(ppm right at 1300) today so she is going to need constant adding im sure prably daily this should be fun though i will keep updating for sure so follow along and lets see what happens.

Awesome man just awesome i'll be checking this one out for sure! I just was giving 3 very sick plants trying to get them back into shape! But once i can take some clones from them there going straight into 5 gallon buckets! Thats a lovely looking lady you have there too man!

so i got some curling leaves and the curled leaves have rust colored veins not to sure what it is she is still growing and new foliage looks good (not curling and vibrant green). anyway process of elimination at this point had the ppm's at 1200 so dropped them down to about 850 going to see if that helps out i grow the same strain in my other trays and have never had a problem with them running at that ppm but never know maybe this one is picky or something lol but other than that she is looking good.

I can always tell if my plants are too high in PPM if I come in the next day and they have not drank really much of anything. I try and keep my PPM's max at 900 during flower looking good though

i will take some pics of her tonight maybe you guys could shed some extra light on the subject and i think you got it weedler im not going over 900 anymore actually going to drop it down in my trays as well kinda feel like im wasting allot of nutes too. anyhow i got some 35% h202 today guess im going to flush her for a good week and bring the nutes back im hinda thinking i might have a salt buildup in the root mass inside the pot when i transplanted her the roots looked a little funky but she is already rooting out of the pot and the new roots are looking healthy and white as can be another thing is the 02 pump is a cheap top fin 7w pump i do have a hydrofarm pump as well think i should change them out anyway pics in a few when lights kick on thanks for the replies guys.

so i havent updated this one in a little bit she is still running strong looking good as ever did some lower pruning for some air flow now the shitty thing is i ran out of space in my flower room so i had to put her in another closet and the only spare light i had is my 4 bulb t5 to put over head so i dont know but she is finally starting to show some flowers now and all the leaves have come back around nicely she is looking very healthy though hope she still flowers out nicely here are some pics.

i know man i am trying but prably wont be able to stretch any cash until march money is tight right now but we will see what happens some things just come along but i will say i took the 4 bulb t5 fixture out and threw my other 6 bulb t5 in there and its allot brighter its like a 350 watt fixture puts out like 30,000 lumens so thats better than the other one at least lol.

well here are some shots of the roots they are getting crazy the bucket is pretty filled up just changed water today just did it a few days ago but water was almost gone she is drinking allot almost the whole bucket in 3 days.
