Hey all, I was "buzzing" along the other evening, mind going in 10 directions,
(you know the feeling, LOL), when suddenly I wondered:> What was the first "named" cannabis strain, and when, by who???
If anyone has a clue, post-up! Good luck & good grow.......BB

I think the first named strain was called " Da Shit " . Suppodedly named by the big guy himself. GOD.
The second strain might have been called " Holy Moses ". Still not sure.

I know the original Skunk is pretty damn old, dates back to the 1970s in Humbolt county California I believe. Northern Lights is also fairly old.

I took the question as, which ones were the oldest man made hybrids.

when they actually first classified cannabis as a plant then the first "strains" would be sativa, indica and later ruderalis im guessing? might be making no sense but hey thats what the good stuff does to ya lol

Good try......actualy sativa, indica and ruderallis are a "species" of cannabis, and there are "strains" of each species. Thank you for playing.......BB
