How long to flush when using clearex?

Im running a 16-site Ebb&Gro bucket system..
I know flushing with products like Clearex can shorten your flushing times, but how much?
In specific, how exactly should i go about flushing?
For example: how many days should i flush using Clearex, and how often should i flood, and for how much time each cycle? and then how long should i flush with pure water after that?

Advice is greatly appreciated!

It's not necessarily that Clearex shortens your flushing time, but rather that you _shouldn't_ flush with the same clearing solution for more than a few hours.

"For Hydroponic or automatic watering systems: Fill reservoir with appropriate amount of diluted Clearing Concentrate and run system for 30-60 minutes. Drain reservoir and immediately refill system with appropriate pH adjusted nutrient solution."

Instead of refilling with nutrient solution, just fill it back up with water when you're done clearing.

I flushed using flora kleen from GH but only for the first 7 days then I flushed the next 7 days with PH R/O water.

If you read the back of the flora kleen i think it says to use it for 2 or 3 days.

I use the FK for 3-4 days then flush with water for 7 and bingo.

In a perfect world, i would be flushing for a full 2 weeks, however im in a situation and need to rush it.
But i also want it to turn out really good, and i dont want to half-ass it.
So with that said, what do you guys think i should do?

The advice i got was a little bit mixed - should i use clearex for a couple hours, or couple days?
Also, is Clearex used for final-flushing, like FloraKleen? like, using Clearex to flush is fine right?

Basically im trying to finish flushing and chop them before i have company come over next week,
so i was hoping i could flush within 2-3 days.. But im not sure if thats enough time...
I was thinking maybe i could flush with Clearex for 1-2 days, and then water for 1 day.. is that enough?
Like i said, i know it should be done for longer, but is there a way to do it in 2-3 days and still turn out good?

What do you guys think i should do, considering the time limits, and still turn out good?

Some don't flush at all...I say"crazy".....you need a proper flush...you ever smoke a bowl and it crackles when burnt....that's bud that's not properly flushed or bud that's not properly dried....from what you're telling us...with the company coming and you trying to rush it..sounds like you might be a victim of both situations....never used a clearing solution tho...I always thought it was a marketing gimmick....IDK...I hope it all works out for you....hate to see you have all that love and care put in to end up with garbage....good luck.......although if homebrewer is using it it must be worth something...his grows are amazing...so any advice you could pry out of him would be gold.

Oh wait, I misunderstood. I don't really flush but I do leach salts several times throughout the grow.

Has anybody ever tried flushing, and then *only* adding like FloraNectar to their water just before harvest?
Its got all the goodies for flavor and smell, things like sugars/molasses, etc..
So basically flush everything else out first, and then just add a tiny bit of FloraNectar on the day of harvest..

..... Anybody ever tried that? or know how it would affect it?

i do that but with humbolt honey.. and only 1 ml per gallon

No way really? How does it affect the overall outcome, compared to flushing completely?

same here. As a final flush, the way i do it is:

I flood the tables for about 4 hours using the clearex/water solution. I monitor PPM of the water and when it stops rising I dump the clearex solution out and replace with PH'd water. I run just the PH'd water for about a week. Sometimes longer if the plants are not quite ready at the end of the week.

the flavor is still okay. no complaints.. but i think the pure water flush for a week plus cant be beat.. the sugars are suppose to help bulk and add a little flavor.. the 2nd to last week i was using gravity and humbolt honey but the gravity make my shit spark and leaves thick black ash so i stopped using it. plus i read bushmaster has cancer causeing chemicals, and i heard something about trace metals???? the sugars are also suppose to sweeten the flavor a little but i think the water is better.. sweet by botanicare really make a difference in flavor while where on the clearex topic. sweet comes in many flavors but the citrus is killer.

Due to the more desirable mineral content of sweet, that is the product that I use when I run beneficials or when I want more magnesium and sulfur. In regards to sweet, I've run side-by-side tests between their grape and berry flavors and not only was the final product identical, but there was again no flavor contribution. Plants have a limited ability to pull up sugars from the medium so don't expect a 'flavor boost' or more weight to come from the use of these products. I'd also recommend against a 1 week flush. Starving your plants of essential minerals at any time during their life cycle is not the way to unlock the genetic potential of your strains.

maybe jillybean taste like lemons naturally then? When i flush for a week plus the taste is pure as shit. why is that? Are we both talkin hydroponics? I hear soil growers get by with out the flush but everytime ive tried to skip the flush I hear about it. not to mention i taste it myself. i keep seeing these flushing is a myth threads so thats what compelled me to try gravity and humbolt/sweet. my trial gave me sparkling buds with off taste. the 1ml humbolt honey also gave an off taste and thats not just from me.. my buddy didnt complain but noticed it. i flush for 4 days to a week plus i taste nothing but goodness. also why are they droppin new flavors of sweet about every month now? snake oil?

But the previous round I didn't flush and finished with about 400ppm in the res and that tasted and burned great too. So, I think crackling, sparking, poorly burning bud is just badly cured or badly grown with way too many additives.

Not only do I not flush, I feed my girls all the way to harvest. No Popping, no crackling, just premium, high quality nugs!

And as far as gimmicks are concerned. Just about every one of those pretty bottles in a hydro store are gimmicks.

I like the swimming pool quote, so which little pretty bottles do you use? do you lower the ppm? im willing to keep experimenting with no flush because its a pain in the ass with a perpetual garden but i cant be just imagining the chem taste and ive harvested without flushing several times in many years. My only thought would be the ppm's are to high at the end, maybe i should drop them or just keep at steady 1100ppm start to finish. Im gonna go chop some 1200 ppm buds and ill post in a week. fingers crossed.
