The Casey Jones is a combo of Thai, Sour Diesel, and Trainwreck. The inventor liked the Grateful Dead and named it after their song, Casey Jones. However Casey Jones is also a famous Train Engineer that saved many lifes with some heroics, hence the songs about him. I believe it was a clone only strain in the US. However I got a clone from a guy in the Dam who subsequently through The Grey Area coffeeshop, entered it into the High Times C.Cup. The strain came 3rd I believe.

The strain showed signs of throwing a couple of seeds out, and then through trying them I found 1 of the girls was bang on, the other hermed badly. This could have been through contamination from a headband or something else, I can't be 100% certain. I was asked by the guy who gave me it to keep the clone to myself but I figure the seeds that I got are mine so I can do as I please with them. I guess some found there way about eh ;)

Should be similar to drying weed. I have had mine in jars for 3 days so far, 4 tomorrow so will be checking them then.

Hairs have started to crinkle, this is normally a good sign, tends to be fairly quick reaction.

This was the first of the pollen that had come out, I am still drying some sacs and will do some more pollination on this girls, along with her sister which is slightly more stout, but very similar in looks. More to come of that.

So here are the first of the Engineers Dream, DPQxCJ. They have gone straight into 12/12, regulars so lets see what happens. Me old parts Westy's ones are looking very similar as well....

Very fat a dumpy leaves, looking fairly indica shaped to me. The Caseys tend to have a similar shaped leaf with a pointy end. Looking forward to further developments on this.

Peace,
