Help, 12/12 from seed?

what i dont fully understand is how do you grow 12/12 from seed if that is the required lighting to flower a plant? Is it just going to be flowering its entire life or does it just automatically end up entering that stage. also, if it is flowering its entire life then how do outdoor plants get huge with 12/12 light if not less their entire life

Also, im not talking about AF seeds

my experience with trying this made the plants stretch too much and the ones that didnt ended up at 1.5 feet and only one female. it is currently 11 weeks old and seems halfway through flowering

haha thanks alot man, i guess the reason i couldnt find this information is because such a simple concept should be common sense. for some reason though i was getting pretty frustrated over not knowing how it worked haha

Its pretty easy now if you put a clone in 12/12 then it will flower from start because usually clones are already mature

would it still continue to get about twice the size or would it be stunted and give me like 5 grams hah

From clone it will still double in size from the size you put it in but if its real small you will get like 5 grams but it also depend on the lighting used..

my little clones didnt pull 5 grams haha i wouldnt grow them if they did my littlest plant was about 15" and pulled over a half oz with almost no veg time. my grow is prepetual but here is a few pics of it ll 2 days in very small and 3 weeks later they deffinetly grow allot. the one on the very left was a seedling i put in with very little veg time this pic is a few days old but they are bigger and bushier now.

12/12 from seed would be pointless since the plant won't reach its sexual maturity until it gets a little bigger. Essentially what you are doing by limiting it's light cycle is starving it and slowing down the plants vegetative growth. You can tell when the plant is sexually mature because the branches will be offset from each other instead of being aligned with each other.. when viewing them from the side. An example would be like foot steps, one branch further up than the other means they are ready for 12/12.

Pointless ??.....I disagree........12/12 from seed = quicker harvest.....some strains are more suitable for 12/12 from seed...bushy indicas are a no no in 12/12 from seed because your yields will be at a minimum....but some strains are stretchers and work well in a sog in 12/12 from seed...especially single cola dominant strains......
