I've got 3 x 105 watt (real watts) with reflector, don't know what I paid for them.

I'm running them in a closet, growing Blue Dream at the moment.

have you tried seperating those bulbs and running them vertical with no hood? you lose alot of light having to go off of the reflector and down, especially with cfl's. i run one 125w cfl for veg and im about to fire up a 300w cfl. fuckers are monsters!!!

I had found the 300W CFL's at Lowe's and Home Depot about a year ago but they were asking about $30 a piece. I was surprised to find that Wal-Mart was selling 200W one for just under $13 per bulb. Now if I could just find a retail store that sold the 200-300 W Daylight spectrum bulbs. That would be most impressive.

The yield from the HPS is 4 times the weight and denser buds for near the same wattage.

I use the hps for shits nd giggles =P haha idk i love the cfls they give u more room to play around with lighting different places

instead of the one light bulb ontop and thats it...i can go spend 20$ and add some new lights all the time =P

i didnt assume you flowered with the cfls, only veg. i run the cfls because i dont have the money to buy the equipment to cool my veg area so the cfls will have to work for now. well aware of the yeild difference in hps to cfl, but thanks. my flower room is 6x8x8 and im running 2x600hps and a 400 hps. i wanna ditch the 400 and get a mover and put my 2 600s on the mover.
