Hi, 4 weeks into veg and they just wont take off, i have tried flushing them with just water to see if they would pick up..when i didnt water them for 24 hours the leaves raised a little, but only the plants at the bottom of the tables, using nft...biggest are about 10 inches and smallest are as small as 4...i gave them a boost of noots to 14 48 hours ago and stil nothing has happend, reduced the watering times to 4 times a day, ph is at 6, temp is at 94 degrees...the roots have hardly come out onto the matts either...not sure what the strain is either but there are 6 big bud in there and they seem to be worse than the others..any help much appreciated thanks.

Is that ph of 6 current? You're having lockout, ph should be lower for hydro, about 5.8.

I personally put my ph at 5.0 then let it drift to 6.5 or 7 before I drop it again. I've never had an issue. What I find absurd is that you said your temps are at 94 and no one suggested you lower that. 73-85 seems to be a fair range. Also do you have a fan on them? If you don't I'd put on them for more air exchange.

It's hot and they may not be able to breath well. Hope this helps.

Where did you get your clones? I have had the same problem before with clones from Berkley. I would yank tose asap and get better babies if that is possible. Can we get a pic of your whole room/setup? Looks nice except for the fucked up plants.

i have reduced the temp and ph a lil, check back in 24 hours see how they get on..will add more pics tommorrow..

got them off a friend he doesnt know what they are and is having same problem, think its a sensitive strain...would love to start again but no clones about that i know of at the minute...just gonna keep trying different things and hope for the best.

thanks for the help!

Let me know if you find a cure. All the purp clones at my work kept getting that same problem. We ended up killing all the moms. All the plants that looked like that never grew right. We tried thousands. I hate to say it but if it is the same prob that we had you are in for a shitty yield.

too hot in there ,bro, get better exhaust. I dont think that is causing these disastrous probs your ph isnt 6, get another new meter and double check. Looks like youve put in some effort, dont want it to fail so fix the ph.

If there's any green, fleshy, no yellow, growth anywhere just take some cuttings and start new plants. Why do you have to go looking for them, they're sitting right there in front of you.

While you're waiting for the cuttings to root you can continue to try to correct your current issues, but at least you'll have backup waiting if you fail.

heres what i would do-first,dont change anything too fast-TRANSITION everything-slowly. flush with pure water in the pots going to waste-then flush with pure water and 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide per gallon-just water and 02n2-for a day-bout 6 cycles per day-cut off all bad crap dont sweat it they will grow back. then if in veg put it at 6.2 ph and 400 ppm........day 3, 6.2 and 600 ppm ........day 5, 6.2 ppm and 700 ppm and stop there and maintain those numbers-i bet that will fix it.
