Dude it's not funny at all, not funny to tell a guy "you'll probably get it thrown out," when we've seen growers on pot boards go to jail over similar situations. But as you say, take your advice with a grain of salt.
lmfao...the avatar probably helped tooOk this friend of mine, wink wink, has this HORRIABLE mother n Law.......how could you convence the cops she commited suisde with 12 bullet wounds? and if not does Antartic have extradition?
Every cop will be different because they are human. On my patrol, honesty(NOT "I've got pot.", but "Yes, I think I may have been going too fast.") went a long way. I guess the ultimate deciding factor is the totality of the circumstances, once again. Yes, they were speeding. Were they weaving in and out of traffic? Lot's of possible factors. For speed and speed alone? If under 15mph over the speed limit(except school zones, 3mph +/-) it was dependent on the attitude I encountered. 15mph+ ususally got a ticket unless he reasonably explained why. What's the best way to get out of a speeding ticket? Have you let people off and if so why was the deciding factor?
If a female in a nice outfit, it helps! What's the best way to get out of a speeding ticket? Have you let people off and if so why was the deciding factor?
It never hurts to ask. Well, not much anyway. LOLThe coolest thing I've ever done in my life is help deliver my son. Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. I asked for a couple extra stitches and got slapped, by my wife AND the Dr.
nice man.you should be getting some nice yields out of that.Well, I took a few "before" pics of my new grow room. The little closet is a strange add-on, but it's going to make a GREAT mother/clone room. I will be building a veg tent to go beside the closet and the rest will be dedicated to flower under 1000w HPS/MH to begin with.
Well that certainly does explain why "it wasn't me" didn't work. Damn. But it really wasn't me. Bastard in the same car drove by, cut over and got off at the exit. Few miles down a cop pulls me over and tells me a plane has been following the whole time. I was nearly in tears (first experience being fucked by the law) but I could totally understand why they didn't believe me, the exit was under a bridge, no way a plane could see it. Natural they would assume it was me. I bet that if I had lied and said, "Sorry I know I was over" they would have left me off too. Bastards! Since then I drive over the limit every day and have never been stopped.Every cop will be different because they are human. The vast majority of the time, attitude and honesty was the key. I could care less about the speed, and if you had a valid excuse(My wife is having a baby!) I would be willing to escort. Never got to deliver a baby as a cop, but delivered 3 as a volunteer firefighter. As a cop we generally encouraged the woman to clench her thighs and breathe deeply until the paramedics arrived.(liability, damn lawyers!) The coolest thing I've ever done in my life is help deliver my son. Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. I asked for a couple extra stitches and got slapped, by my wife AND the Dr.
As a civilian, I NEVER travel more than 4mph over. EVER, unless an emergency involving life and death. If I'm a few late, they can deal with it. I call to let them know, but I'm not going to be stupid for no reason at all.Well that certainly does explain why "it wasn't me" didn't work. Damn. But it really wasn't me. So up to 15 be super nice and honest (unless you have to lie to sound honest in which case lie). Cool....up to 15! Thanks, +rep
LOL!!! Thar she blows!!!! No, when the claim was made, there had to be a woman there(most of the time, unless daddy was headed to the hospital in which case, CODE3 escort). Again, it came down to whether I believed his story. If someone said there wifes having a baby did you always let them go?
That seems like the perfect excuse lol.Did you still check for there license after they said that?
Make sure and let me know how it goes haha..lol im definitely saying that shit the next time I get pulled over.
First let me say that snowcap looks amazing, snowcap and sour diesel are the only 2 strains that i can tell by the smell, snow cap has that nice turpentine/beeswax smell that always seem's to resonate my nostrils.. Second that new grow room should be epic, hope all goes well with it!
I do gotta say in my personal experience respect and honesty or a good believable story is the key.. I got pulled over a couple weeks ago at 12:30 in the morning, i didnt have my license, registration, insurance, was driving my dad's vehicle that has no front license plate, and i had herb and a scale on me... Now normally i would never bring my scale anywhere but we were making brownies and it needed to be weighed out. Anyways i got pulled over for not signaling while switching lanes. Needless to say i was scared as shit. But i talked to the cop, told him i was just visiting my grandma and was on my way home, i apologized for not using my blinker, made conversation with the guy. He took my info, ran my name, Luckily i have a squeeky clean record. Anyways he came up gave my information, told me to remember to signal, and told me to have a good night.
Budlover i got a question for you...
As a cop what was your opinion on graffiti? I used to have alot of friends that were way into it and would repeatedly get abused by the cops when being busted..
Really? I speed all the time. Everybody here does, it's actually scarier not to speed. Go the speed limit and some guy in a 2 ton truck is going to come up your ass and kill you. I tried once to go the speed limit, scariest shit ever, seriously. As a civilian, I NEVER travel more than 4mph over. EVER, unless an emergency involving life and death. If I'm a few late, they can deal with it. I call to let them know, but I'm not going to be stupid for no reason at all.
Yeah for sure, the only thing that could really get me in trouble these days is herb.. Other then that i work 40+ hours a week and just like to take it easy..Good story. I like to hear of those positive contacts. A SCALE? Holy crap! Good, cool demeanor.
Graffiti was a no-no in my book. If you had permission, go for it(as a local program used to allow, working with local businesses). If it isn't your property to "re-decorate", and I caught you, it was over.(Provided the owner agreed. They should ALWAYS have a say.
Fuck!!! If this thread was a month sooner......If someone said there wifes having a baby did you always let them go?
