Which Breeder?

Ok, after reading and reading, I have made up my mind as to which bank I am going to be ordering from: Attitude. Now, I have thought about using Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk, Tangerine Dream, and Vanilla Kush - however there have been *some* people saying that Barney's Farm Seeds have too many different phenos in their strains.

So, my question is/are: Are Barney's Farm Seeds ok?
What other seed breeders do you use and recommend?

I don't know anything about Barney's, sorry.
All new crosses have phenotypes. If you want a stable sized new cross you would have to get a feminized version.
I like TGA & Reeferman's seeds, but really they're all pretty good. Follow your heart is what I recommend unless you're in it strictly for profit.

Its hard for me to see a reason not to go with a cup winner like Barney's.

To me breeder choice depends on the individual. ..budget...grow situation..desired smoke effect, price, desired length of grow (from start to finish), resistance to bugs, and general health of the plant are some of the things I think about when choosing.

I think those things and do'n research on the difficulty for any strain are good things to look into before choosing.

To some a selection of phenos is a good thing...while to others its not.

Its a trip how much there is to choose from and how little time there is to try them all. ..he heh.

I like Dr Greenthumbs seeds. Sagarmatha are not bad either, just waiting on my order from the Attitude for some Cali Connection beans. I can tell you for sure the Doc has good beans, I cannot really say to much about Barney's Farm -never grown their stuff- but I have heard good things. Only downfall to Dr Greenthumbs is that his seeds are a little pricey. Anyways, hope this helps and have a merry Christmas.

Ive only run 1 BF strain, Violator Kush. Ive kept it in my perpetual grow for a while now. Having different phenos is not always such a bad thing, and not uncommon.

If you are considering breeders Ive had good luck w/ Barneys, DNA Genetics, Reserva Privada, G13 Labs, Dinafem and Female seeds.

From what i hear barneys is ok.Alot of his strains are good like the blue cheese,violater kush,sweet tooth and of course the new cup winner t.dream.
But me im from the east so i want to grab as much west coast genetics i can so im mainly going for cali connection,dna,reserva privada and tga seeds.They are all good breeders and im sure you will like more than 1 of thier strains.

Awesome replies - I thank you all. I was looking into DNA as well, but I think my current pick is going to be just fine. I am going to have to search around for some Violator Kush reviews to see more about that strain and look into some more DNA genetics as well.

You will be happy with alot of strains from dna.I used to buy alot of thier strains only thing i didnt get that i really want is chocolope.But i have the sour cream,kushberry,connie chong and a couple others also reserva privada strains too.

Flying Dutchmen. If you want to get feminized beans I'd go for power skunk or blueberry skunk from Flying Dutchmen. If you want cheap seeds that are great bang for the buck...check out Nirvana.

I would go with greenhouse seeds for fem beans or before i go with nirvana.Nirvana is a bunch of knockoff strains.

newsflash...the average smoker doesn't care. If it gets them high as farq...they are happy. I mean that is why you grow pot right? To get high?

AK48 by Nirvana is as strong as anything out there...and at a far lower cost.

I grow bud because of the beauty of it.Not just to get high and relive pain+stress+anxiety also to go to sleep.
ak 48 isnt it mixed with ruderalis? I mean cmon how strong is it.
I would def go with ak 47 tho.Besides you can get better genetics for the same price elsewhere from more reputable breeders hey but to each is own.I know i wont spend my money on them.

AK48...is drop a load in your pants strong. Many seasoned pot heads in my neck of the woods said the ak48 was the strongest/best weed they ever smoked. Grown it twice. First plant I ever grew. Used cfls...it took 53 days from flower to finish. Rock hard buds...and I got 2 ounces from 1 plant using cfls and like I said it was my first grow ever.

Made cookies off the trim that made people get all trippy. It grows like a indica...and has a good bit of the body high in there...but also a VERY racy head high if you take too much.

I paid $25 for 10 seeds of AK48.

Since have grown DNA lemon skunk, Seedsman northern lights, Dutch passion Brainstorm...and none have been even close to the strength of AK48. Not even in the ballpark.

There are dozens of great breeders out there...I just don't want people to dismiss a breeder like Nirvana because they are cheap. As I said before...99.9% of the smokers out there...just do not give a fuck where it came
from or how much the seeds cost. They have one criteria for the bud. How high will it get me?
