I have 2 strains... Jock Horror and Bubblelicious. Both are Auto flowering and feminized... so no real clone possibilities. I got them from Nirvana but I believe they stopped selling those stocks for awhile due to some grow issues. Obviously the batch I got was fine!

Okay folks...well obviously whatever I'm doing, it seems to be working. Here's a new picture. These kids are 5 weeks old now. No hairs yet, but you can see they are thriving under my 'hot lights'. We've been circulating fresh air into the little space with a fan that was cut into the wall lower down. I haven't watered yet since the original transplant into the 5 gallon pots. I check every day with a moisture meter, and so far the kids have plenty of water. I also have a humidity gauge in the room. I've noticed the humidity has gone down quite a bit (it's always dry in Colorado). I've added a tray of water that I top off every other day. The next time I water, which will probably be in a few days, I'll add some Foxfarm nutrients, but very dilute, as I doubt that the roots have actually made it to the new soil from the transplant. Okay...so here's an update on my grow. First off... I found out that I was using my 'flowering' light when I should have been using my 'vegetative light'...BIG DUH! So at almost 6 weeks, my plants have been under the wrong lights. However...check 'em out!! They're big and bushy but short, just like I expected them to be. I was a little bummed about not seeing any flowers, until I started doing some real snooping and I found several 'preflowers' popping up... and one actual bud growing!! So I've got my poor husband 're-changing' the light back to the flowering (that's the orangey one for us technically challenged folks) lightbulb and I'm still keeping it at the 18/6 cycle that Nirvana suggests.
Luckily, I'm not having to change the actual hours on/hours off so according to the grow expert in my neighborhood, I shouldn't be really stressing them out at all. I'll keep everyone posted on the flowering.

Awsome Hopefully my next batch looks just like that....GREAT job...that flowering light is alright during veg ...it will keep it short and bushy like such^^^lol i think useing the flowering light brings out the true shortness of the Auto's...but if you have a metal halide deff use for veg...i dont have one so i just use my HPS great grow tho...what do you have those sitting on?that grate thing?

Yeah, but like a bunch of painted ladies, they're not worth a darn!! Just got a reply from Nirvana and they said 'I could try' but these plants are not going to produce. Something was wrong with the genetics. Nirvana is sending me some new seeds, just Feminized and very short. NOW what do I do with these pretty little plants???? Just for grins, I'm going to turn out the lights on them for 24 hours and then put them into a 12/12 light cycle. I'm probably spinning my wheels but it's worth a try. In the mean time I'm going to get the nursery ready for the new infants. I'll start a new post once I get these new seeds, which Nirvana is quickly sending. I'm a medical patient so I guess it's time to hit the dispensary.

The grates are to keep the pots off the floor. That keeps the soil warm and also if I screw up and over water I have a sump pump sitting at the end of the wall that will catch the overflow. It keeps things nice and neat. Check out my last post.... how sad for me but now I know what I'm doing, I think, so the next batch will be better!

Nirvana is sending me Aurora Indica Fem seeds. I've also asked them to send another Sativa Fem that they have had good luck with, and they will do that also. In the meantime I had the poor sexless bushes in the dark for 24 hours and then just switched them to 12/12 this morning and am going to keep them going until it's time to move the new plants I'm getting out of the 'nursery' area. I'll keep you posted on this thread.

It definitely sux. And yeah, being a lady (albeit an old lady), I'd definitely rather have a room full of males than a room full of whatevers....lol.

The grates actually were extra shelves from a heavy duty plastic shelving unit my husband bought for me from Home Depot. I use the shelving unit for my nursery area of my grow space. Note the T5 lights above the shelves. Hope this helps.where did you get those grates frm?I went to Home Depot last night and I culdnt find anything like it...sorry but i like that part about your room
