I figured that someone like you wold be against things like paid prioritization for one thing.do any of you even know what was actually ruled on?
it's kind of a WIN actually. none of you even know what you're ranting about.
google it and educate yourselves.
Why, it's for the CHILDREN of course. You guys are absolutely right, this is a travesty! What the fuck do we need to regulate corporations for. Because if history has taught us anything it is that mega corporations (like Version, Comcast, and the other big telecommunication companies) are ALWAYS benign and have the public's best interest at heart. Please see Enron, Walmart, Goldman Sachs, AIG, etc. What do we need regulation for anyway? I mean look how great Ronald Regan's deregulation of our banking system is working for us now. So we should absolutely keep the net unregulated, come on now the telecommunication giants would NEVER screw over the people just to increase the bottom line. Us common folk need laws and a police force to enforce those laws, but that's only cause our hearts are not as pure as those of the telecommunication giants. Since they have hearts as pure as the driven snow, they need no rules, regulation, or oversight, that will work out in all of our best interests.
/end sarcasm.
Have you ever seen anything government touches becoming cheaper and/or more efficient?do any of you even know what was actually ruled on?

pretty sure you have me mistaken for someone else.I figured that someone like you wold be against things like paid prioritization for one thing.
I mean, it seems to give a hell of an edge to big business.
I though a guy like you would be for the working man?
This will squeeze him right out of business in a few years, sort of like what Wal-Mart did to mom and pop stores.
And there seems to be a lot of loopholes by way of the word "reasonable", and who gets to determine what "reasonable" is?
But of course, the gov't would never abuse these sweeping new powers would they?
never said i was "for it". i'm simply saying "relax".You guys who are for this can get mad and call me what you want.
But this ruling and what comes after it are the beginning of the end for sites like this one.
Yeah, that was what the doctor said...never said i was "for it". i'm simply saying "relax".
If they try to enforce it, it would mean people under middle class wont be able to afford to go online in their own homes. Also because people who know how to monitor the internet are paid more then doctors in todays world, and we would have to have the government employ more then workers in a hospital, that would be we can expect our taxes to rise as well. Think Nasa prices. And in the end even with us Americans going broker then we can imagine as a country to have ourselves policed and dictated by big brother, in the end some kid in his basement in the Netherlands would be able to K-Line Washington DC from the internet forever. I don't think our government can regulate the internet without causing civil war and I dont want to see that happen to my country.Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have a better chance regulating what direction ducks fly for the winter in the end.never said i was "for it". i'm simply saying "relax".
that's why the cable company is on it's way to my house right now to double the speed of my HIGHSPEED. literally.Have you ever seen anything government touches becoming cheaper and/or more efficient?
This is internet socialism. The internet is going to cost more and be slower for EVERYONE in the interest of "fairness"... whatever that means.
That's what I'm smoking the weed fornever said i was "for it". i'm simply saying "relax".
i'm not the one who started the thread. the OP offers nothing. don't start demanding it from me now.uh I googled it and I see NOTHING that shows an actual win, maybe you should post a link proving your point instead of expecting us to go through all this other information that DOESN'T correlate with what you just said?
when you expand power to control flow of information, only BAD things can result from it, its foolish to think our government is actually looking out for our best interests...
wow, excellent counterpoint.Yeah, that was what the doctor said...
He was asking you to defend your position.i'm not the one who started the thread. the OP offers nothing. don't start demanding it from me now.
