Sexy Lady you have there Barbie. How long before you extinguish her life and she comes back as some smokable nugs?
not sure, i just keep checking the trichs, when they are all cloudy then down she comes. now keep in mind, if i had not stressed the crap out of this lady then she would probably be 3-4 times bigger.

What level of amber are you looking for? Cerebal high or couchlock?

bud2.jpgsetup.jpgsprouts.jpg Im sorry the pictures are small, but i ended up having to use my phone so u could at least see something. lol

Should i take the covers off the florescents? I didn't think about that at all... would it make much of a difference...? The cover has a blue color to it, thought it would be fine...

Awesome!

I love it when people just use what's at hand to grow. It's easy to throw money at something (well, for the people with money) I prefer the gorilla approach myself, in almost every one of my hobbies. Reduce, re-use, recycle all-the-way. With some ingenuity many household objects can be repurposed to growing Cannabis.

Good luck to you Captbooyah.

My wife laughs at me because I ALWAYS find something that can be used for growing. Even in clothing stores(Those circular racks could be very easily converted to a tent)!

Seems to me like there getting abit stretched IMO. I would take the covers off of the lights because its probably restricting the light spectrum getting to the plants. Other than that i would say Good Job and keep it up :)! oh and also you should think about transplanting the 2 in 1 pot within a couple of days.

Yes, take the covers off. They block precious lumens. I love those Walmart lights for clone and veg. 7800K. Here's what I did with some of mine.

i would try to keep humitiy around 40% when lites are off ,this time of yr they need a little more, had same thing happen around a couple weeks ago,so i put a heatin pad under plants put plants in a kitty box or some kind of plastic and put a bowl of water in there to keep bottom roots warm and give enough humity, hope this helps ,its working great for me ,but everyone does things a little different,

Thanks... I appreciate it! That is a great set up u have there. Is the storage container easy to maintain? That is definitely a lot more discreet. I like it...

solo smoke... thanks, I have been concerned about that myself... I was considering wrapping the pots with a dish towel bc they always seem to feel super cold on the sides...thoughts? I will be putting them in a shallow something or other once I find/acquire one of the right size. (my kitty box is currently in use! LOL) but i can get one at Walmart cheap... Yeah, got to love walmart. LOL

VERY easy to maintain. Temps are 1-2 degrees above the house(74) and the only thing I have to do is keep 'em watered. I put 1-1 1/2" of rock in the bottom of my pots so that when I water, the run-off is never in direct contact with the soil. I've only had to drain excess water once(with a gas siphon hose) because I watered too heavy. I usually end up with about 1/2" of runoff in the bottom but it doesn't hurt the plants and keeps my humidity up. The ventilation is a passive 4" intake with a 4" 85cfm PC fan pulling through. Very portable too. Unplug it, move it, and plug her back in.

Budlover13... that's awesome! I am really considering doing this for my next attempt... might even switch them over once i get a pc fan and whatnot... Also considering this sweet little hydroponics system i found on-line that has EVERYTHING... pump, hyrodton, starter cubes, ph tester kit, water level monitor. I'm thinking now, I might even do both!!! Hahaha... all excited about the possibilities!!!

Looks good capt! A little shallow like you said, but you could adapt it to a larger rubbermaid container. For the price, you probably couldn't buy the materials and build it. Everything is pretty inexpensive, but the pump.

The cheaper way to do it (if i dont get the kit) would be to do a floating fish tank hydro system... lol I dont know how widely used it is, but I have seen my father-in-law do it... Its amazing! All you need for that would be a air stone for a fish tank vs. the irrigation pump ($12-$30 vs $50-$200) lol I found a pic on-line. Same concept as the hydro, but hell if you have a fish tank at home... you are good to go. They say Styrofoam is the best floating platform.

Update: took the covers off my fluros... thanks everyone! Going to be replanting with new soil either wednesday or thursday (whenever I actually get to the store). I am also going to be clearing out a 5' x 5' storage 'closet' in my basement and re-furbishing for growing. There are only storage containers in there now. It has brand new drywall in it that is already painted flat white, and I can control the space a bit better than a counter top. (that, and keep it better closed off from the 3 yr old who keeps inquiring about my flowers... yikes!) But, all should be going much better after this little move. Hope to have it all done after x-mas (4 days away- yikes again).
