I Need a Hobby..

I really need something to do.. Everything just seems bland and boring, I mean I read, and draw and what not.. But those get old after awhile, I'm always switching around what I like to do and its annoying, what are some of your guys' hobbies? I really need to find something that I LIKE to do instead of wasting my time getting baked and going to work, or if I'm not at work, sleeping..:confused:

Hehe, gotta wait until I get out of the apartment, I'm getting a house hopefully next year as long as I don't get fired or something :3

Something to last until then maybe? Lol what do you guys do?

It don't take enough work to keep me busy though I just need something to do.. I just smoke and sleep or work, the buy more money with my weed.. Like I just need something to do stoned or not

But come on I'm sure growing shit doesn't take up all your time lmao

I can't just find hidden knowledge all day when I'm bored, I mean I guess thats less of a waste of time than what I'm already doing.. But trying to find knowledge and all of that, its not time consuming, I mean I meditate sometimes, but I don't have the patients to go more than an hour.. I don't want something that makes me think, I wanna be able to do something that will kind of drown out time and give me that hypnotic state of feelings.. Like reading a book, or just doing something you really like.. But I like nothing really and its kinda sad that I am so bored and helpless while everyone else I see at least has fun doing SOMETHING or is at least committed to something.. I just feel boring and retarded like someone that an old grandma would feel sorry for.. I mean sure some of the people I see are probably more miserable than I am, but at least they have something to do.. Lol like I said all I do is sleep, work, smoke, and shit.

more of an antique person. have sold some old records, pictures, and random nicnacks that accumulate some value over time. Have a picture that my pops has been buggin me about and he got it for like 50c back in the day and i look online and its going for 3-500$, so treasure non the less. always wanted one of those expensive metal detectors that show what burried, could prove to be lucrative

i'd second archery, and videogames, both solid time wasters. anything outdoors is good. music and instruments are good. going to a community college for cheap classes in anything that might interest you is also good.

yeah the college this is probably the best bet. my community college offers all sorts of awesome classes for the community, martial arts, foreign language, sports and fitness, cultural awareness. I would personally opt to take Tai chi, Chinese, and botany. but i don't have the time.

Cycling is a quality hobby/lifestyle. I say hobby/lifestyle because it's much better to ride somewhere than to just ride. get a decent bike, and start commuting to work, that will burn off some extra time, and get you in better shape.

I work at a riding stables.

Yeas it's long hours, fucking hard work, a bitch to travel up there... but do you know what? It helps me feel like I 'give back' to the place I ride (even though I still pay lol), I love taking care of the horses and thank them for the work they do, and I go home feeling like I really 'did something'. I can sit down and say, I freaking earned this joint, I did good today.

And it teaches you new skills, how to be selfless etc... There is no better feeling than gaining the trust and unconditional love of an animal, you will feel fulfilled ^^

Video games are also awesome. I love a 6 hour stretch on my ps3.

Music! I love listening to all kinds and I play 5 instruments.

Teaching myself ballet and pointe. It's helping me flex for horseriding, I can do the splits now ^^ Go, get active!

Thank you guys! I might actually take up the botany college class, I really do like plants, not just weed either... I love the self satisfaction you get from felling like 'I made that thing grow, I gave it life to help mine' kinda thing I just can't grow anything because this apartment complex is a bitch. Like I said though I am moving out soon into a house of my own, I just need to save more money up so I don't buy more than I can handle.. I like makin things out of wood too, like shelves and what not.. Its not the coolest thing, but I mean hey I like to do it so why not! the problem is that I could never have a job involving that, it would suck!

But yeah, just the fact of working hard and then smoking what you paid for, it just makes the high 10x better, I remember me and a few friends once had 2 or 3 days off for snow, we knew we were gonna be off for awhile, it was terrible billzarding with more to come! so we went out one morning and between the three of us we made 150 dollars, and at the end of the night, we bought 100 dollars worth of this really good bud I remember, it was one of the times where I completely switched my dealer because this dude was so awesome lol those few days were some of the best times of my life! plus with 30 more of the dollars, we bought a bean each and rolled our asses off. :p first time I did x :D

Could always have yourself a kid or two, that'll take up some of your time lol

Other than that, maybe get into computer repair or somethin, learn how to fix busted xbox's n playstations, be a good hobby and make you a few bucks on the side...glass blowing would be another good one, people always lookin for new pieces to smoke out of
