dang, man you really do have 4 weeks more man, daanng, i do feel ur pain..lol...gotta make la laugh..ha........ha........ha!
Thanks fdd. means alot coming from a seasoned pro like yourself.
Can't beat that, if it's for FREE than it's for MEactually i got it for free. my buddy gave it to me. its working fantastic. a little loud but fantastic for free.
Hmmm... I am really considering this idea. I am using a 4ft 4 bulb T-5 set-up right now. I might just try a little scrog with 6 kali-mist clones and hopefully soon 4 purple haze and 2 orange kush.... time will tell. My set up is on like page 2 of my grow journal in my sig..I feel like t5s were made to ScrOG. Even light distribution over a large area seems like it could make a ScrOG of champions! I have given a lot of thought into investing in t5s at some point. Light penetration is not a big priority in this method, so you don't need the big-watt high-lumen lights. If anyone is considering a new lighting system and has a penchant for experimentation... I hope he will consider this. I think the yield per watt would be ridiculous; although the initial investment of a multi-bulb t5 setup can be prohibitive. Someone go for it!!

Sounds awesome how many plants are you planning on scroggin in there?i flower in a 3 X 6 room. i am only using half or 3 X 3 of it for plants at the moment. my chair is in the other half. i want to change a few things. the location of my door and what not. i have 1 600w right now. i want to add a second light, use the whole 3 X 6 area and do what you do.
Heat can always be solved with proper ventilation. How many plants are you trying to grow? In that space i would probly grow 3-4 at most in a scrog. rule of thumb is 1 sq ft pr plant in scrog. but honestly i gave mine 3 sq foot each and i realized if they were crammed into 1 foot sections i would be pulling my hair out with all the crowdedness of the screen. its already maxxed out right now.First off, Billybob, I just read through this entire thread and your grow looks damn pretty. You have inspired me to start SCROGing. I think it would be a great way to get the most out of my space. I'm new to the game and feel like reading this thread has tought me a lot. I appreciate that.
I'm in the process of designing myself a stealth grow box with paramaters of 54"w x 27"d x 40"h. I am planning to take a foot of that width to use as a mother chamber. Leaving me a 42"w x 27d x 40h. What do you think I would need in terms of lighting for my flowering side? I want to have enough power but heat is probably going to be an issue for me.
Def, but u think it would be in like Advanced growing or something. but no one is ever on that one.We need a Scrog Forum. For Scroggers and Future Scroggers etc..
I have some T5 bulbs laying around, but the big investment is in the fixture, which costs about $250 for a 4-foot 8-tuber. Does anyone know if it's possible to make a homemade T5 fixture? I'd be willing to try, given savings and the increased lighting efficiency.I feel like t5s were made to ScrOG. Even light distribution over a large area seems like it could make a ScrOG of champions!
