Am I Nuts? My First Grow

SO I have a lot of questions but we will start with this;

I have a 4 ft tall cabinet lit with cfl's. I got a little carried away when picking out my clones and came home with:

White Widow
AK 47
Scarlet Fire
Af-Goo
Purple Punch
Romulan
Purple Kush

What do you think? Should have I got a few of the same strain instead of this crazy mix?

You got 7 different strains is this your first grow?? lol that should be interesting....If your going to mix your strains up you might wanna consider atleast getting the same type....Like get all sativas or all indicas...but you have some Tall plants and some short plants and some meduim plants.......also they will flower at different times..some will flower fast some will take slow some will be tall and some will be short some will like hotter climit some will like colder climit.....lol im sure you will be ok just things to consider next time......

hahaha, yes I will learn alot this time, or totally fail!
To combat the different height issue, i have a very adjustable hanging light and light fixtures on the side walls. I also have a bunch of splitters to turn one outlet into and angle them every which way. I also only have the one box. I was planning on waiting until the shortest one is tall enough then flowering the whole lot. Then I will just harvest as needed. (if I ever make it to there) To make matters more interesting i started a seed a few months back that is about 20 inches tall, threw that in there because it beats where it was living.

maybe look into some LST methods. use it on the tallers ones and keep the same height as the shorter ones..id unno thats just my two cents

try adjusting the pot itself up down verse the moving the lights all around.... if a couple plants are short just put somting under them to raise them up.....Its most important to have an even canopy verse having them all the same size....so just put somting under the bottom of the short ones so the tips of the plant are even with the tall ones....

+1 on the above.

Sterilite makes some really cheap bins that work well to raise plants. Those nursery pots upside down work well too. Cinder blocks are cheap as well :)

go with white widow ,purple kush. i think the others are sativas(bad for cfl) not sure.
