What's wrong with this plant? It hasn't been using any water, grow bag has been heavy. Spots early on developed into a mass amount of leaves turning yellow then dying. i'm now going to flush. leaves feel like sandpaper from the spots/symptom. im using NSR flower/boost and cal mag nute supplement. i'm leaning towards root rot.

That def. could be a nute burn. Sometimes giving a feeding thats recommended is still too much for a plant. First thing you should do is flush the plant. You should be doing this regularly between feedings to get rid of built up salts, ect. Your plant is going to be fine. Just flush it with 1/4 strength nutes. What kind of light are you using and how close is it to the plants?

well the thing about that is the plant has dry dead leaves which is a classic symptom of overwatering which suffercates the roots, and overwatering causes fungus to build up on the roots which causes root rot.nute burn usually causes burn spots on the leaves.

Many different problems share the same symptoms. This could easily be an overnuting or even an undernuting problem as well as even pH problems (causing nute problems).

Root rot kills the older leaves first, and I can clearly see that this is effecting mostly the younger leaves. I'd bet it's a nute def. What's the feeding schedule on that lovely?

so far its not on a regular basis, just whenever they seem to need it, jugded by the weight of the grow bag/plant. average is 3-4 days.

Hps 1000. pretty close, between 12 and 20 inches. Also found some bugs, their cream colored, can be seen with naked eye crawling around on the tops of leaves. I think their feeding on the leaves, like with a sucker, leaving white dead spots randomly all over the leaves. Looked at them under a 300x microscope, very ugly. head is shaped like a praying mantis, body is is long and slender. my thought is maybe they ravaged enough of the the total leaf surface area preventing photosynthisis and slowing the growth process so much that the plant was unable to use all the nutes thus causing the possible root rot. thnx for the input.

water in ive also added naminode to the water to rid any bugs in the soil. im
