Ok boys Hopefully everyone elses order makes it mine is on US soil. (never pay for guarantee shipping) royal mail says mine is still being processed but USPS says it's made it thru NY and on it's way made it there today.
LOL. Royal mail says mine has been shipped and passed over, and USPS say's royal mail is preparing to send it! This fucking tracking system needs a good overhaul!

Guys it's just that time of the year. I ordered something totally non weed related and I checked the tracking (usps) this morning. It said that it had been delivered yesterday morning at 746am. But yesterday was sunday! I called and its coming here today. Things are just hectic.

Im just saying i would send them an email stating you have exceeded 21 work days and still dont have your parcel.
It does state on the site allow 21 work days for delivery at most, well...?
Still nothing, even though it did update today and you know its on its way. But still you'll probably get it mid to end of this week
which will be past that 21 day mark. Business is business, and you would be in the right asking some questions about waiting past their postal time lines which are disclosed when you purchase, Id expect to receive with in the time line they gave, if they couldn't hold their end of there disclosures id demand answers and something to rectify the situation and keep me as a customer! They state can take up to 21 days for customer like us ordering at times of the year like this so that 21 days takes this time of year into account.
Nothing says please allow more than 21 days if ordering at busier times of the year lol!
They are setting expectations up they cant meet that is now way to do business, this is my first time ordering from attitude actually ordering seeds at all for that matter, and i know how business should be done and this is just sloppy B.S.!
From Attitude's FAQ"

"6. I have not received my goods yet.

If choose standard postage and you do not receive your goods within 21 working days, then please contact us. Once you have done so, we will make enquires into the missing parcel with the relevant postal service, to try and track down your shipment, however if are unsuccessful then we cannot be held responsible for the mail service and your quarrel is with them. If you choose the ‘Guaranteed’ International, we guarantee your parcel for any event of it not arriving to you, and in the event of you not receiving your parcel we will reship your parcel immediately to the original address provided that we do not receive online confirmation of the delivery of your parcel from the mail service, Exclusions from our guarantee include if you parcel is confirmed as delivered, however you claim to have not received it, in this case you must take this up with the mail service including your mail person to obtain further information where the parcel was delivered to at your property our guarantee is also voided if you enter an incorrect address, as it is your responsibility to ensure we have the correct information to ship your parcel to, 99% of parcels arrive through your door however if your parcel requires collecting then this is your responsibility to collect it. "

They do not guarantee 21 days, just that after that time if you have not received your item and there is no proof of delivery by the postal service, they will reship if you purchased "Guaranteed International".

Bottom line is once Attitude presents package to the postal service, it is up to the postal service to deliver your mail. Only if you pay the "Guarantee" will they reship if there is no delivery after 21 work days and an inquiry to the postal service does not show proof of delivery.

Brick Top, have you ever used either Seedbay or Seed Boutique? I use greenman's seedupdate to screen banks as well, but if you notice banks ratings will change up and down depending on how many submissions they recieve in a given month.

I can only speak from personal experience, have ordered from both Bay an Bou and always received seeds in breeder packs, nondescript package, no crushed beans and quick delivery(3-5 days from Bou if pay with CC or 6-8 days if send money order to either).

And, also want to update status of my Attitude order. Place on 11/24, Attitude presented package to Royal Mail on 11/25. USPS now shows today as being processed in NY. I expect delivery to my box in another 1-2 days.
So, it appears Attitude did their part, and the mail service (in this case appears to be Royal Mail that is the major holdup) is dragging - most likely a combo of crappy UK weather and Holiday mail crush.

I notice several others who ordered around the time I did are beginning to get updates that their mail is now in the US going thru NY. Chances are the Royal Mail just delivered a huge load of backlogged mail to the US that had accumulated over several days. This would be consistant with the problem being the mail and not anything Attitude could do about it.

I will say that I have ordered two times from Seedbay after having placed the order with Attitude, and received both within 7-9 days from the time I mailed in money order payment. (to the east coast US).

This was just a test order for me to see how Attitudes service is. I now feel more comfortable placing a second order thru them.

I am not here to pimp one bank over another as I will use whoever has what I want at decent prices as long as I know there service to be legit.

Good luck to all still waiting on their packages or mail updates from the postal services involved.

I have relied on Greenman's seedbank rating since I found it over a decade ago. I have only purchased from the seedbanks that had the highest ratings at the time. I have never been ripped off, I have never received an incorrect order, I have never received a partial order, I have never had an order not arrive, I have never had a late order, I have never had any problem of any type. That makes me fully trust his ratings.

If someone else doesn't want to and would rather use a seedbank that receives a lower rating, even on other ratings sites which I also do look at just to compare, that's totally cool and the gang with me. If someone wants to gamble that's totally up to them. But I won't do it. Not as long as every time I rely on Greenman's ratings I get exactly what I order.

As for Seedbay, I have looked at it a number of times but I almost never see any real bargains, not enough for me to want to try it. I have seen people bid to above the price the very same beans could be purchased through a reliable seedbank. Overpaying is not my idea of a deal.

I did use the old Cbay auction that Heaven's Stairway ran when it was up and running ... you could find some real deals there and even better yet a number of rare hard to find clone only strains would pop up from time to time .. and they were the real deal.

As for Seed Boutique, well I have never seen them hit the 4 star or better rating that a seedbank receives with they are considered to be fully reliable, and since I fully trust Greenma's ratings, I won't use Seed Boutique. Seedboutique 3 stars and 1/2 (F***1/2) (1)

I like, in no particular order,

Attitude
Hemp Depot
Hemcy
PeakSeedsBC (even though they have a very limited line)

When Heaven's Stairway was in business it was always my first choice for where to go to shop. Great prices, a really good selection, great customer service, totally reliable. I miss it and the Cbay auction a whole lot.

But that's just me .... and as the old saying goes, to each their own.

This is bologna. I ordered at the exact same day and even before some of these people on here and I still haven't had a single update on the package that actually matters. I actually shipped a christmas present to Scotland a week after my order was dispatched to royalmail and he got it today. How can going one way be so much faster than the other. Doesn't the wind current over the Atlantic move west? Wouldn't that make it faster to come this way? Its like my German buddy is able to buy a round trip plane ticket to and from america for around 350-400 USD. I go on the exact same site and switch the dates so I leave from the US and back to the US and the price doubles. America sucks.

Well at least your not alone DVX... LOL usps says we suck.

England has been shut down by record snowfall...has that been mentioned?

They are saying that Christmas deliveries are in jeopardy, I figure you are just caught in the crunch.

Brick Top, it seems to work for you.

All I can say is I have used both, 'Bay and Bou for almost 8 years, never a non delivery and always receive in less than 2 weeks. Get what I order and it grows to breeder specks.
As far as prices, I don't do much in the way of auctions. I mostly by the BINs. Just picked up some Strawberry Diesel IX and Strawberry Diesel Kush for $30US each. Not sure where I could beat that. Also, bought DoubleStrawberryDiesel.v2 for $80.

Auctions in general can get crazy, and one thing that really screws things up is trolls who bid up to rediculous prices and don't pay.

I like the seedbankupdate, but it would be nice to see what the actual issues people are reporting to see if it is really a problem with the bank or issues with a breeders gear.
Same thing I do on ebay, look at the actual feedback, not the rating. People bitch about all kinds of things that have no real bearing on wether I will get what I order or not.

I appreciate the infor you provide, as it seems to be given with good intentions.
(will probably be placing another Attitude order in a day or two, in part due to your responses)

Peace

I was going to mention that and mention all the canceled and delayed flights that have backed things up and how some East Coast airports have has some problems too, though lesser ones, but considering how irrational many in this thread have been and how they totally refuse to accept facts, logic and rational I felt it would fall on deaf ears, or more accurately deaf eyeballs and deaf brains, so I did not bother to mention it.

Some in this thread refuse to allow reality to enter into the discussion and only want to nail Attitude and or the different postal systems and Customs Departments to the wall because their beans have not arrived as quickly as they would have if they had ordered in May or August or something.

An update on my situation guys:

My SECOND order, placed on December 4th, and DISPATCHED on Dec. 6th

Your item was processed through and left our JAMAICA, NY 11430 facility on December 12, 2010. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

As for the FIRST order, placed November 24th, and dispatched the same day, apparently hasn't even left the Royal mail facility yet. Still get the same generic message on both USPS and Royal mail. However, I will wait patiently until 21 business days have completely passed before I request to have my package reshipped. Only been 17 so far.

That was something great about the old Cbay auction. Bidders seldom went overboard because there was a near continual supply of even rare clones. Bidders would take their time and let an auction or two slip past and nail one at a good price at like 4:00AM when there were few bidders.

Something else I liked about it is they held charity auctions for several people. One that if I remember right had been in a very terrible and tragic accident and was then a medicinal user, and then for a couple low income medicinal users. On those auctions people did tend to toss in a few dollars more because they knew it went to a very good cause and really helped people who needed assistance.

I like the seedbankupdate, but it would be nice to see what the actual issues people are reporting to see if it is really a problem with the bank or issues with a breeders gear.

I would agree, that wold be nice. I would also like to see it expanded somewhat and include a few more seedbanks and maybe even a few of the larger small seed selling shops .... if that is not too much of a contradiction. But it is what it is and that is the longest continually running seedbank rating site on the net, and at least in my experience the most trustworthy and the most accurate, so it at least in my opinion it is a far better resource than the highly limited numbers of opinions you find on sites like this ... sites that are known from time to time have orchestrated attacks made against certain seedbanks, normally Attitude as of late.

I posted a message from another forum I am a member of, a message posted by a mod, where there was a don't purchase from Attitude flood of threads going on, somewhat similar to here the last few months or so. The site operators checked/traced the members info, found that it was all coming from one computer, and possibly only from one person, using multiple usernames/accounts, all supporting the initial complaint and reason of why to not use Attitude. The account was terminated and he/she/the were blocked. The I hate Attitude flood ended on that site.

It was either someone with a major grudge or some other seedbank or employees of some other seedbank that wanted to give Attitude a bad name in hopes of picking up Attitudes lost business.

Same thing I do on ebay, look at the actual feedback, not the rating. People bitch about all kinds of things that have no real bearing on wether I will get what I order or not.
That is true but then some feedback is irrational raving so it too is only so accurate and only of so much importance. For a handful of years I was an Ebay junkie and I bought and sold a very large number of various items. I had a very high rating and most of my feedback was very good. But just like in this thread I had a few people complain about slow shipping even though the day, or at the latest the day after, I received payment I shipped the item ... but the shipper was slow ... so the buyer said I was a slow shipper. I would even scan the shipping receipt so they could see that the item was shipped very promptly, but because UPS or FedEX or the USPS was a bit slower than the buyer liked they ignored the proof I provided of near instant shipping and said I was a slow shipper.

I used to have a neighbor who is a Stanford educated psychiatrist and he used to laugh and say that reality is whatever someone believes it to me. He would then throw in something like that would not include someone who believed they were the king of a clandestine miniature nation that existed beneath the floorboards of their bathroom, because that would be sheer insanity. But within reasonable bounds, to each person they do create their own reality and to them it is just that, reality, it is real, it is factual and we are seeing that exhibited here by people who refuse to accept all the currently valid reasons for slower than normal delivery and are screaming for some delivery service or services and Customs and even Attitude to be strung up by their private parts for reasons that are totally out of any of their control, for reasons that are temporary, that are seasonally situational.

I appreciate the infor you provide, as it seems to be given with good intentions.

I don't want to come across as an Attitude pimp, though people have asked if I am on their payroll. I like them because the prices are good and their selection is vast and they are reliable, but I will place an order with Hemp Depot or Hemcy or PeakSeedsBC if something is out of stock at Attitude or if the prices are better at one of the others or if they carry something I want that Attitude does not offer.

I am by no means a one trick pony .. but I do have a favorite trick that I do more often than others and that is The Attitude.

See somethings not right. I ordered two days before your first order and your second one is ahead of the first one. I bet a whole containers lost. Its not normal to be updating some and not others. Even if your first package reached the US unbeknown-st to you, it shouldn't take more than a half a week to reach you from NY. This is just silly. Next time I'll have a buddy get them in the UK and next day them to my ass.

yea I've been trying. Neither of the tracking numbers work on usps, even the one that according to royalmail has been in their hands since the 29th or 30th.
