Just got an e mail from Attitude they have placed an order for the Barney's Tangerine Dream and will be selling it soon. Score now I know whats growing after my Super lemon haze.

I heard Tangerine is the same as Tangerine dream is this true?
I read some where that they changed the name to tangerine dream so that it would sound more appealing?

i hear from people i know who shelled out the money for judges passes at the cannabis cup that the selection of NEW strains was not up to par with previous years. The belief from them is that tangerine dream won best new strain because it was the best strain that was INTRODUCED at the cup. We believe that the Super Lemon Haze did not win first again because it would have been no surprise, they wanted something new this year, even if the majority of the judges favorite was the super lemon haze... I went to the cup in 08' when SLH won and i have to say the pheno that greenhouse presented that year was hands down the BEST SMOKE EVER! Even after a day of intense amsterdam smoking this thing would still kick you in the brain! That all said i am sure the tangerine dream is an amazing strain!

This is an old strain that has been around already for some time, i actually have some clones that have been rooting for about 4 weeks now (right when the cup was starting to kick off : D). I heard that tangerine dream has just been inbreed & then it was dubbed the tangerine dream, that is what i heard. Tangerine is a grapefruit cross it says?

You could say this for almost every cannabis cup since the first one. I had a short word on this with Brick Top not too long ago, about how our cannabis gene pool is severely dilluted. TRUE hybrids like Northern Lights and Skunk #1 and White Widow(now black widow, Mr.Nice seeds) have all but vanished from the mainstream palette. Yet, most of what we smoke today is one generation after another watered down versions OF THOSE greats and their ancestors.

Got mine on monday and started soaking them. No germ yet. Dissapointing. My Next Generation Afghani Kush, and free la blanca cracked in 20 hours though. its been over 4 days now!!!!
