I've trimmed leaves and not trimmed leaves, the advantages of trimming is lost with Aero, no need to cut down the surface area to reduce transpiration.

One of the reasons I am going with a mother is I want mature clones. I can't let them get more than 12" so in order to keep the steaching to a minimum I want clones that are showing pre flowers, so how ever long it takes them to get 12" is how long I am going to veg.

FTR I would want to veg until the nodes are altrenating or pre flowers are showing.

Yeah the little grow that i did 12/12 from clone they were alternating and pre flowering and the bud went all the way to the dirt.

Was wondering of you practice moving your plants around in different spots of the grow, incase one is getting more light than the other one day it wont be the next? (hope that made sense)

My veg cab is 28" X 22" x 30" with 8 T5 HO, flower cab is same but 54" with a 400w HPS. Not any dark spots but they do get moved around a bit.

I've been inspired by what I have read, especially some of the small container grows (the guy who grew in Japan for example).

So I have decided to give DWC a shot.

Spent $41 at Wally World for the following:

1 - 19 Gal Ruffneck Container with lid
1 - Air Pump - 2800cc
2 - 14" air stones
25' - Airline (I'm going to hang myself with the excess if this doesn't work)
1 - Tube Silicon goo
Assorted hole saws.

Things I already have:
4 - 2' T5 HO 6500k
1 - 125w CFL 6500k
1 - 250w CFL 2700k
1 - reflector
9 - 2" net pots and neoprene collars
8 - Next Generation NY Purple Diesel Clones

Things I need:
4 - 2' T5 HO 2700k Tubes
1 - PPM/EC meter and matching nutes
More Hygozyme
1 - Reservoir and pump if I decide to go Over Flow DWC
1 - PH meter
1- Some way to measure the water temps
8 - 2" net pots and neoprene collars
Help

Any comments, suggestions or subs would be appreciated.

Am well impressed with this thread. Not often you find one so positive and such a joy to read, even though it evokes pure envy and rage. Jealousy's a bitch. ha. Lovin that its UK terminology. Its a shit storm of Americanisms out there.
Bonzi I await your updates like a Muslim for his virgins.

cheers
