Up until this point, I haven't had to really actively hide the smell of my flowering Kiki, however today I've gotta have the smell covered for prolly an hour or so (last min. emergency at the place she's at).. what's my best bet? Incense? Fabreeze? I just need a quick fix. What's the best suggestion?

Best suggestion borrow an Ozone cannon.

Second is Coffee works really well and I mean either roast some or burn some beans to create coffee smoke I used to roast my own beans and man it covers up everything and lingures around.

Pop some popcorn or cook something that will fill the house with that smell and overpower your favorite smell...
Having a ton of good smelling candles and incense handy is always a good idea too.
Oh yeah...vacuum right before they come over no matter what and use carpet deodorizer if you have it...good fresh smelling stuff.
Good luck!

A strong coffee smell in a part of the house far from the kitchen would prolly seem weird... and I don't have time t try and hunt down anything ozone related... FUCK FUCK FUCK.. i have to leave in 10 mins. PEOPLE PLZ!..

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'll def make some strong smelling coffee in the kitchen tho, cant hurt..

Well...any report on how covering the smell went? I am wondering if you have someone come over who isn't too keen on the enticing aroma of the buds and you have a bunch of other plants around if you could blame it on the other plants...hehe..
Let us know how it went!

I have lavendar growing in that room thatthe closet is it, it's lining the window sill since the window is open at all times.. kids are known to cut through the yards a lot.. Anyways, the covering of the smell and the plants went well! Nothing seemed out of place..

The house where my plants are at currently is on the market, had a house showing yest. The best thing out of the stuff I used was an odor absorbin solid from walgreens. Put it on top of one of my fans in the cloest, freshened up the whole room within 15 mins. Thanks everyone!

Could you post a link to the stuff you used...

I also read a post about using pinesol and something else mixed in with it i forget what... I though about it but the smell of pinesol makes me sick... =P

I like the odor absorber for a quick fix if the cable guy or plumber needs to be in my place... =]

at the home dept paint isle they got this ona block thing that absorbs odors. it is an activated charcoal puck that absorbs odors. I forget the name, but is industrial and is 5 bucks and works ok for 1 or 2 plants in veg. I graduated to a charcoal filter and an ozone generator after that tho. they are cheap on craigs list or ebay:)
