Acid... how to know?

ok, so I've heard a lot about lucy... songs, family, friends, all told me different things about tripping on acid..


what I've heard the most obviously is the strange hallucinations...

well... I recently got some acid, and took about 7 hits within a period of 4 hours, and all I can say I maybe saw... was some lady in a car when I was passing, looked as though she was pulling her face off... but it was only for a split second... no waves, no colors no anything else visually... nothing at all except maybe I was laughing at some stuff a bit more than I would normally... maybe I was in my own head a tiny bit more...


so I started with 1 hit, took 3 more, then 3 more, all within 4 hours... I then see people say that 1 hit would make them see shit... so I'm like... wtf... I would assume that you shouldn't have to take more than a few to KNOW your on something... without having to "check" or "think" about it...

so my other friend that had some said it was super strong, he got a couple from me to make sure I got the same stuff... and he was gonna let me know about that... but the person I got this from seems to think I'm expecting too much out of it...

so in the end...
you think its acid? if not what?

I came back from Treasure Island with a sheet and half of acid and was selling and eating what i wanted. I was up to 8/day just to get off. I can stare at the grass and stay still and see waves and my balance is fucked.

It is acid, good stuff is extremely hard to find at this point, not like the LSD-25 that most of your references would have been based on. Today most acid is made in a bathtub, not a lab. What you experienced is pretty much how i can some up 75% of my trips. Did come across a couple sheets of really good "pharos" is high school, probably still regret that weekend 33 hits in 3 days, and a vile from Amsterdam in my early 20's otherwise all it was shit.
Most of all every drug affects every person differently, some people get sight hallucinations, others of us get lost in our own heads. Hell i remember dropping liquid acid in my eyes (at school LoL) to try for better visuals. Don't do that though, doesn't help just hurts like hell. All i can say is acid is like weed, and no 2 are the same. Keep dosing as long as you can (at one point or another life gets in the way) and someday you will see some shit. Also i got better visuals from shrooms, but thats just me.

There was very little LSD on the tabs or it was just completely bunk (nothing) stuff and what you were feeling was a placebo effect. For me I need to smoke ganja with every type of blotter laced with Lucy I've done for the trip to really take off.

That is rather impossible... LSD-25 is not Methamphetamine, it takes at least a bachelors to masters in chem. to perform the synthesis. If you knew how hard it was to get ergotamine you would understand.

To the OP:

Krytical, it is impossible to say what you got based off of your experience. You could have had nothing, or you could have had real LSD-25, who knows. I have read about people with Obsessive Compulsive Neurosis who did not feel 1800µg's (1.8 milligrams) of LSD due to their neurosis... different substances affect people in different ways.

A quick way to tell is using a black light (this is not a guarantee, nor does it work with WHITE BLOTTERS):

LSD-25 will fluoresce blue under Ultra Violet irradiation.

I believe it is black on a Marquis, although I think 5-MeO-aMT shows up black as well... I personally would use a "Ehrlich's Modified Reagent".

The marquis has worked quite fine for me! LSD-25 turns to olive black... some people would be like how would you identify that color... lets just say its gray to make it simpler on everyone. I don't really have the time to elaborate on the essential feel of unadulterated LSD. But mate you'll know when you blessed by the grace of Lucy... it has that signature touch

ok, well, tomorrow is 1 week, so im gonna take 5 at once, then see how i feel after a bit... and if nothing after i guess an hour take another 3? i dont know what to do at this point... the back of the blotter is white and the front is colored purplish/blueish and others with white so a blacklight doesn't show much to me.... so any suggestions on what to do from here?

probably not acid(lsd) not even lsa, if one or two dont work dont buy more.first time i had it saw many patters ect. then the universe closed in on me and i became white light came to in jail thinking everyone was dead and i was god. good times. try mushys i prefere.

Never do that, ever. Either don't buy any more, or take one at a time. A substance like BDF can take 6 hours to kick in.

I take it no one read my last post? The psyche is strong enough to block psychedelics from being active.. he could have 500µg Hofmann tabs and psychologically be unready to trip. If this is the case, a higher dosage will not have any result, only numerous trials will allow the mental blocks to relax and allow the psychedelic to take its proper course of action.

Also true what shep said, I on occasion get 0 effect from DMT, once I even smoked 2 doses in succession... nothing happed, then the loudest thunderclap I ever heard happened outside.... I would have shat myself if I was actualy tripping.

I'll be the second voice of caution! You never take a drug that is so poweful in abundance.... and not knowing what true drug is contain in those blotters of your's! Proceed with caution...

I'd suggest with a pattern as so:

Take one blotter... wait a hour. Nothing? Take another... 30 minutes no effect.... jam your mouth with another... if nothing, don't waste your jaw on taking another... it's most likely nothing or something treacherous in the making!
