snaped a branch half off, will it regrow?

I was attempting to bend and tie down a branch on my plant and i bent it to far.
It snaped almost fully off its still partially connected at the base but basically pulled out halfway out of the trunk.

i used a twist tie to hold it up on and placed it back up right in the trunk.

Will it regrow or will it just die off?

lets hope so its in a General hydroponics power grower just drained the res and re added nutes.

using 3 daylight 27watt cfls and 1 warm 45 watt cfl

its about a foot and a half has recently been pruned and toped within the last week and has about 5-7 node sites on each of the four branches.

I'm so glad to hear that, I've beern scramblin' all evening to see the best way to handle my major f-up. I was tying my uppermost branch down and I heard a horrible crack that ran chills up my spine.... It had snapped about halfway right at the stock, so I ended up tying it up in a couple of places and got the crack closed as tight as I could. I feel a hundred times better cuz I'm pretty sure I did the right thing. It will b going into 12/12 at 6am tomorrow from 24/0. It's a beautiful Green Goddess, about 7 weeks old, indoor hydro. Thanks everyone!!

If its to bad get out your clone gel an Make another plant.

I split my uncle benns topped Wappa, split the stem in half!
Definatly lost a weeks flowering, but i splinted it an she tastes lovley.

I recently had a tragedy with my 7ft girly I have her taped up but she isn't repairing as the others have don't mean to highjack here but you think that may be a good solution for me is the top 2ft of the plant the little branches that went down with it are healing fine but it does take some time

ya know what i do when i do this? I push and hold the branch and break back together where they are seperated so the break is completely closed off, then get out superglue and proceed to circle the break(which is pushed back up and held so its in the same position it was and the break is basically sealed. kind of like how if you cut yourself real deep but its a clean cut you can push/hold the sides back together and just glue it shut(which they do in hospitals with surgical glue.) with it and hold a minute or so till it dries. in a few days it will almost be like it never happened. a day or 2 of shock is something i can live with. lol

Hmm haven't known anyone to try that but does make sense and I thought about it I think I might just give it a try thanks for the info darkdestruction

I've done it a couple times. Feel like a total idiot when it happens. It's amazing how resilient they are. I always make sure to keep the affected branch misted; I figure it can't get moisture as easily for a while. I guess you could foliar feed too, but I don't usually do that.
