Plants never stop growing

I have 2 plants that did not flower but keep growing so after ten weeks, I took my plants down to 12/12 for a week and then put them back to 18/6 and that seemed to do the trick to a point. My plants are now 15 weeks old and over 5ft and have flowers, but it is a slow process to get them fully flower. Their are a lot of flowers on my plant but they just have not exploded into life. I was wondering as they are now 5ft tall, should i just class them as normal plants and not auto's and adjust the time to 12/12. Any help would be gratefully received.

yeah, if your plants are that freakin tall i def would go with 12/12. you need to stay with 12/12 so they can flower fully. reverting back and forth can cause stress also.
18/6 will just keep veggin them..

What kinda nuits are they on? Do you have anything for the flowering(nuitswise)?

he stated they are auto's, so he is curious why the genetics of the plant have not gone into the flowering stage on their own. and maybe you mixed up your seeds? but if 12/12 is working for it might as well keep it there to flower since its genetics cant do it on its own.

The seeds were single seeds bought from pick n mix seeds. Thet are AK 47 and Northern Lights Auto flowering seeds. They are growing in Bio bizz organic soil under 2, 125w CFLs with supplemetary side lights of 2, 58w fluorescents. Hope this helps you.

you have a normal non auto flowering strain. you got riped off! if it was an auto flower you would have started to see something at 2 weeks into growing and would have been done with it before you hit the 10 week stage, most AF strains are done within 7-9 weeks. you have a normal strain. by changing your lights from 18/6 to 12/12 you started the plant to think its fall and it wanted to flower. now by switching it back into 18/6 you have fooled the plant back into veg cycle. turn your lights back to 12/12 and be done with it.

Also AF strains can flower under 12/12 or 18/6 or 20/4 hell for that matter 24/0 thats what they are made to do

hope this helped you a little

my question is : how do you let your plants get 5 foot tall and not know that they are not auto and to switch them to 12/12.

there not going to stop growing unless you kill them and the grow more when you flower and you need 12/12 to flower them

they can flower at 24/7 or 18/6 if they are an auto strain but there not because they wouldve flowered by now

If they are the nirvana auto flowering plants, they're notorious for not autoflowering. They discontinued them for that exact reason. They didn't nail down the autoflowering trait in breeding but tried to sell them anyway. They say they fucked up, but I think they just wanted to hop on the autoflower hype as soon as possible.

Switch them to 12/12 and wait.
