hmm are christmas lights a good source of led light??

just a thought since they are leds and they do have red and blue spectrum not to sure about purple tho. but yeah

is it not strong enough?? cuz the tree seems pretty bright but ehh wuz worth a try
i think the problem is the specific wavelength leds put out, the ones that put out the right wavelength for growing with are more expensive than those ones that dont. so thats the reason why they use the cheap ones instead. i may be a bit off on that but from the best of my memory thats what it is/was.

ah i see what you mean i tottaly forgot about that all that wuz on my mind was the color of the lights lol! and i did some searching and i doubt those light put out 1w per bulb or 10 altogether
