I've had that bong for 3-4 years now. Was $80 when I bought it new. Talked down from 99. Delta N9ne makes good glass, that bong is a tank. Never smoked out of it since I got my percolated two footer bout a year or more ago so just recently I got a hair up my ass to start smoking oils so I converted it into an oil rig. The vapor globe bowl attatchment with nail was $60.
About to run another quarter for some oil

Just picked up some "Green Apple"... Which smells and tastes like apples... And gets you high as fuck. It's confusingly amazing.
And just ran a little shake to get some BHO honey oil
And now I can take oil dabs off my new vapor globe. Today is a good day.

So I know what BHO is, but I constantly see it in different states. I see your shit is solid almost like glass, and ive seen runny liquid... I also saw some guy on youtube, with a vapor globe on a piece, it looked like he picked up a string of semi solid oil with a paperclip and just kind of lowered it on the vapor dome and milked a fattt rip
I really wanna get make me some oil one day, but whats the deal with the oil in those different states?

Not a noob question. Therss a lot of things to determine the quality and consistency of your oil. My first batch in that picture, i let cool to quick before it's final wash/ purge and it turned into shatter glass. The second batch I did right, and even whipped it into earwax.
Usually the runny, black, oils are the batches made from trim. Oil also depends on strain. Some heavy sativas oil up to a transperent almost orange taffy. OG and diesel tends to get that perfect soft amber brown or even budder up to a light green. Then again it just all depends on the batch, trichs, etcetc.
Even then different techniques even differ quality. Certain extraction tube sizes, amount of tane you ran, how you or how many time you purged. If you whipped it up, if you purged by a different way (ex: double boil vs. Heat plate). Even what kind of tane you used.
Many things can change your oil and you kind of adjust and change tech iques after every extraction until you find "the way".
For instance... This is my second run... Of the same shake. Came out to a less stable, almost wax. The first batch are hard stable rocks.
The difference between all the states is purity. Budder is the most pure, refined, clean, best tasting way to make and smoke oil. All the tane has been evap'd.
