1st Bag Grow...Help Is Needed And Appreciated

Alright everybody, this is my first grow....ever. I got my friend to bring me some seeds from back home, nothing special from what he tells me. I came to this website to get a basic idea of what i needed, and what i needed to do. Im already a 4 weeks into it. I started them off on a 150 cfl. I had it for about 12 hours a day, nothing exact, sometimes more time, sometimes less. Yesterday i manned up and bought a ballast and a 150 hps with a timer. Oh yea, have them in miracle grow moisture control and put about a handful of 16-16-16 into it. They have been on the hps 12 on 12 off now. I also have an oscillating fan going on when the light is on

this is my biggest one. I dropped the cfl light on it about 5 days ago and broke the stem,:wall: but it still seems to be doing fine.
By the way can anyone tell me when and how i find out the sex of the plant.

Ill add some pictures of the smaller ones later on

Again, any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

These are some pictures of my "slower" plants. They all got germinated and went in the dirt at the same time, but these smaller ones have grown slower. I also noticed that some of their leaves are looking kinda sickly. Any thoughts on what it could be? Or what I need to do to fix it?

Wow the big one you have used to look like mine when it was smaller.
Check out my grow man!
Looks just like yours lol.

So I want to transfer the big one already but Im pretty sure its too soon. What would be a good sign that it needs to be transferred to a bigger pot?

Another question...when will I be able to tell if this is sinsemilla or just lower quality bud? Ive smoked my share of both, just have no expirience growing, so I know none of the "obvious" answers

So I know its only been a couple of days since the last time i put pictures up, but i get so excited seeing any signs of growth, i figured id share :-o. Pictures were taken after they've been getting "sun" all day

Dude i know what you mean, These things grow so fast lol, In a matter of hours you can see a change in a plant, At least the small ones. Keep up the grow, Sub + rep :bigjoint:

Transferred all the plants to bigger pots and also bought a nutrient from the store. Went to home depot and even though I never said what i was growing, they knew what i was doing and were more than happy to help:clap:. I usually water the plants everyday, but i didn't water the big one for the last two days and then after a full day of light i transferred it to a bigger pot and then i attempted to "make it rain." If i understood it right you just over water the plant with a water/nutrient mixture....right?:dunce: Well anyways that's what i did, and afterwards i wish i woulda done it this morning so that it could get light all day, opposed to "eating" , then going to bed.....Anyways this is the nute...let me know what yall think...also im staring to lst the big one from now...yall think its to early? well happy growing!

So I transplanted and now my big plant, and didnt notice that the new potter had a case on the bottom. So the water didnt drain like it shouldve. Now im getting yellow spots on some of the leaves.:?: What should i do?

Is it possible to drill holes into the pots? If not, you could either transplant in a couple days again or you could somewhat underwater the plants so it won't drown them..... Wait to water until the pots are pretty light.
