5 Gallon DWC 3 Weeks Into Flower Of Nirvana Bubblicious Using The Scrog Method!

Whats up guys? I wanted to show off my first ever DWC scrog grow. I posted a thread a couple of months ago, during the beginning stages.

Now that my grow is 3 weeks into flowering, I wanted to share my success. I will no doubt increase my yield two fold this go around with only one plant. I'm a bit surprised as to the shear girth of the base. Almost 1.5" thick.

I'm using homemade netcups, which I have pictured. Been using these for a few years. Heavy duty built out of schedule 40 pvc. The cups are the perfect size for the rapid rooter seed starter plugs. I grow start to finish in these and never have to deal with those stupid grow rocks.

400 watt hps and dyna grow two part nutrients.

The aluminum foil is on the lid because when the plant was small I had problems with heat being absorbed into the reservoir because it was a black lid. Good for keeping light out but bad for absorbing heat. The foil helped cool it down, I don't need it anymore but been too lazy to remove it.

Using a six inch sand anchorstone and and elite 801 airpump, with mister landscape black irrigation tubing.

I'm hoping to pull at least 8-12 O's from this. Will post more in a few weeks. Comments are welcome!!!!

How long did you veg? What light?

I have my first DWC going right now early veg, and my first 'scrog' like setup flowering now. It's not scrog but canopy maxed with a long veg, top, then tie down : )

This was my first scrog grow also. Very pleased with the way it turned out. I started from seed in a smaller cabinet, which you can see by checking out my older threads. Probably 3 weeks from seed in the veg cabinet running only two 23watt cfl. Then I moved to the larger cab pictured and vegged for about two weeks before switching to 12/12. Light is a High Pressure Sodium 400 watt but I honestly think its too big for the cab. I have a lot of problems with heat. I'm thinking of going back to my old 250watt. I'll post some more pics in a week or so when it gets pretty close to harvest. Thanks for posting. I didn't think anyone liked my setup.

I appreciate your kind words. I'm really hoping to pull as much off of one plant as with 2-4 with the traditional style of growing. I gotta tell you....those little net cups i'm using are the shit. I love them. It really has simplified my entire grow and my water stays crystal clear. I really like the bubbler buckets and I'm really digging the screen method. I'll probably just flower one plant every couple of months from now on.
