Kinda looks like it might be a drinking night again tonight after all...good think is it will be drinking and working on the grow room...

On a side note, ozone generator showed up today (thing looks bad ass and huge, apparently effective for 23,000 cubic feet, more than enough for the entire house) along with a bunch of nutes, and cloning equipment...pics soon.

man watch that ozone genny man, i got one recently and its not for greenhorns believe! real bad if theres anyone with asthma in the house. good point to remember is it has a half hour afterlife. too much build up will kill you and your plants. you going to run a carbon filter alongside it?

It is hooked up to a 750cfm Can Fan and exhausts out the chimney. Also I have one of those backdraft stoppers for it so it can only go one way. Thanks for the thoughts though.

the ozone genny is surplus really if youve got the fan going 24/7 thats exactly the size can and fan i got and the ozone is redundant, handy when your chopping tho

i had some odour control probs my fan and filter werent up to the strains but should have been fine for the space anyway. i got the ozone and ran it 15 on while the fan/filter were off then 15 off with the fan/filter running. it worked kind of once the fan shifted the ozone through it. you could smell it outside the op. im guessing a big genny like that your going to run in line after your fans!? you need a good length of duct for it to be effective. i think i was told 4 meters for the big one. depends what size filter your running with that 750 fan? im running an 8 inch rhino and cant smell jack out the op. i only use the ozone for when im chopping now.

I had no plan to run a filter...just the fan and the generator. Like I said, it is getting exhausted up and out of the chimney so hopefully that will count for my 15' required for "best results" per the instruction manual. The instructions also state to always place the generator after the fan. Aside from that though, I am still in the building stages of the room. If I have any smell issues it will be addressed at whatever the cost.

Also looking into the dangers and what not of ozone. It appears from what I read that ozone will not accumulate but instead will dissipate and only has a life of about 30 minutes. I am looking into ozone detectors right now...from what I read anything over .05 ppm is dangerous...Couldn't hurt to have a detector in the living space and one in the grow space just for peace of mind.

Thanks for the input. Def gives me more to think about.

i think youll run into the same issues i did man, if your running the fan 24/7 the ozone wont be given chance to build enough to cover the dope smell and youll be pumping out funk. if your going to run the fan say 15 on 15 off youll probably find the fan will clear the room faster than the o3 can cover the smell for the next 15 on. same problem.

youll more than likely be fine till full bloom but i would have a decent size Can on hand, cos its a very nervous wait while one gets delivered haha

hows it going medhead and probress on the build since last update? ? i took the last 2 days off from my build to play with my kids and go crab fishing...
but i will be right back at it bright and early tomorrow....

Sorry guys been real busy. I did however get the room completely insulated and light tight, got a bunch more stuff today too, dampers, wall mounted fans, soils, mylar, ect...also got a small start on a 100+ site aerocloner. Tables still need to be built but will be fast. Realistic time frame is for everything to be ready in a week.

There are quite a few but I want to have the opportunity to pick and choose the best strain for my style.

Clones and mothers yes.

I will run a few strains at time. First runs will be white widow because I can get clones of that one right away from a friend. After that. the first seeds that will be germinated will be DNA Genetics Kushberry Feminized, Paradise Seeds Sensi Star, T H Seeds Chocolate Chunk, Paradise seeds White Berry, and og kush...all of which will supply clones for myself and my friend. 10 mothers in my room and 3 - 4 in his room.
