some growers push air through the lights to cool them others push air through one fan and then pull them with another fan on the opposite sideI thought I heard it was better to pull the air through as opposed to pushing it....?
alot of people will say its over kill for only two hoods. but if your not worried about noise go with the 8 inch
exactly cooler bulbs = less distance from your tops.I have 2 1000's running , 8" blockbuster hoods, and I can unhook the duct and TOUCH my bulb and it isn't unbearable hot. You can hold it
no shit eh? what type of fans? this doesnt seem possible. if it is tho ....i wanna copy from you if you dont mind.I have 2 1000's running , 8" blockbuster hoods, and I can unhook the duct and TOUCH my bulb and it isn't unbearable hot. You can hold it
yes if your enclosed grow area is a 4x8 if not you have to run the house ac all the time to keep the rooms ambient temps around 70 so you like will bring it up to around 80 unfortunatelywould this be enough to cool 2 1000 watt lights

does it have to be cold outside to stay as cool as you first described?8" blockbuster hoods and 8" windtunnel fan
outside air intake> fan> light > light > exhaust outside thru wall
