...I have looked at those mini hps lamps and didn't purchase because of that daylight sensor...I'm no electrition and didn't want to bother with opening the light up and bypassing the light sensor....so your idea about covering up the light sensor sounded great!!!!...I just didn't know it would be such a simple solution...I will definitely be adding a couple of those to my grow space....Thanks for the Idea!!...REALLY

I did and he apologized sincerely and refunded my money....he then offered to reimburse me for the light fixtures I bought from home depot(10" round chrome reflectors with porcelain light sockets).....I kept them , I figure Ill put some cfls in them to supplement lighting

Well thats cool then. Kinda sucks he has no clue what the hell he is selling though hahaha

i think that hydro store owner posts here once in awhile. in fact, when i give bad advice it is the spirit of that bad hydro store owner possessing me!

I was very impressed with his offer to buy the home depot stuff I bought based on his advice...very honorable......I decided to go with six 2' T5 high output flouros (wich I bought from him).....should be good to veg 2 plants..I hope

so you plugged a 70w hps into a regular light fixture...like the same as you plug a cfl...and it worked? Let me know how you did this or am i just confused...

I've heard a couple people say that it worked....however I'm already over budget on my grow closet and am not buying a bulb just to try it out....I think you should buy a 70 watter and tell me how it worked...LOL
