When to lower a high output 450 watt T5 on Seedlings? When to transplant under HID

Hi everyone,

I have a 3x3 ebb and flow table with 60 seedlings in one inch rock wool inserted in a 2 inch net pot surrounded by hydrotron.

I water every 3 times a day for 15 minutes. Most of the seedlings have there first 3 prong leaf and they are working quickly on the next set.

I am curios to when I can start to lower the t5 fixture lower than 1 ft..

How many nodes are needed before topping and transplanting under HID 1000 MH?

Any help would be great.

I use t-5's to veg. I wait till they have two sets of leaves then lower to six inches and see what happens over a cycle. If they are good I go a little closer. I keep my indoor about 3 to 4 feet tall so I will top at the 4th set of nodes, wait a week then flower. You can use the 1000w now if you can keep it about 6 feet away.
