When should i add the nutrients to the water

Should i water my plant if the root didnt get to the water part yet

Should i put my light on tomatoes ?

I added nutrients at about 1 week and 1/2. I add nutes every other feeding. No, don't water your plant if the root doesn't touch, if you are using the AG sponges, they will suck up water to the root, I never water them manually. Just let the AG do its thing.
Even though I added nutes after a week, I heard that you should always used nutes, even if its a tiny amount. I used 4ml of that starter nutes that come with the AG seed kits, and it didn't seem to hurt them at all. I use that to get them used to nutes, then I add my other grow nutes (Floranova Grow)

No nutes for the first 2 weeks....ph'd water 5.5-5.8 only...then add nutes at 1/4 strength and slowly work your way up from there.

ok so its been 20 hours under light and my seed did not grow yet how long does it usually take? and should i water it even if the plant didnt grow yet?

Justin, I don't want to sound rude but have you done any research on your own? There is a ton of information here on growing in the Aerogarden. People on here will help but you have to do a little to help yourself....
