Keep it at 18/6. can only hurt them imo. They wont Get that much bigger with a few extra hours.

No, but still. Keeping it constant and consistant is best. Like if you had them at 24 their whole life.. and switched it to 18/6 two days a week. Like WTF? stop tryna confuse the poor girls

its like putting them on a 11/13 or 10/14 flower schedule. Hoping for faster bloom, Well it doesnt reduce the hours in a day.. . you still gotta wait 8-12wk for proper smoke.

Boo on that statement.!. Negator.!. Too many factors to prove that one.. Soil/Hydro? Nutes/No Nutes? Light Watts? Humidity? Fan Blowing? DETERMINES MOST GROWTH rather than 2 extra hours of light.. I bet some1 who knows what their doing can have a plant GROW FASTER AT NIGHT THAN an IDIOT Messing up his measurements on ANY lighting schedule

Considering there is no actual proof out there it's an arguable subject but responses like that just make you look immature. More studies have been done showing faster growth with 20/4 light schedule than any other.

Any factor thats not PERFECTED is stunting your plants growth. ^_^ seeing as no1 is perfect, No 1 sees the tru potential of how a plant can grow. immagine hundreds and thousands of years ago, WHEN their was PURE INDICA or PURE SATIVA STRAIN.. :O REAL LIFE FOREST, MARIJUANA WAS ONCE A TREE ! NOT SIMPLY A WEED ! I envy our ancestors.. . and they would envy our bongs :O

More studies? I doubt you could hold enough of them to Prove 20/4 is better than 18/6. imo just too many factors of the grow, strain or just the fact that 1 seed may produce a stonger plant. and if you happen to be on 20/4 lighting that might sway your belief on why your plant is the way it is.. when you may have just gotten your Nutes in line more.. or the temp of your water was just right.

Your plants do grow more when the lights are off. I leave my moms on 24/7 cool white flouresent four foot tube 360/w and if I sit there and watch them they will turn certain fans upside down and a few hours later turn the fans up again. Your plant knows how to deal with 24 hour light. Cfl's have the wrong spectrum of light for veggin.
