20 pot ebb&grow/dwc

hello all
new to this site and dont really know how to work it yet LOL just thought i would start a little journal of my grow. I have done allot of research but defiantly dont think i know it all so advice is welcome. This is my second grow first one went ok never had the money for hps bulbs for flowering so used crappy foro's t8's i think for the whole grow so this time I'm hoping for some better results. Anyway for my current setup I have a 2'x4' ebb tray with a 15 gallon water rez underneath it(in flowering room) with only 5 plants in it for now had 6 but found a male(2 sour deisel's 2 blueberry's and 1 og kush) not sure if these are legit strains got the seeds from a friend who swears they are. Getting another 2'x4' tray and want to eventually have 20 girls all together (flowering). My lighting in the flowering room is dual 400 watt hps's with extrasun ballasts 2 big extasun vented reflectors with all ducting ran with a 97 cfm exhaust fan running through them. I'm running them veg(when all is done and moving well with 20 clones)in dwc five to a system with a dual hose air pump with two 4" round air stones in each system with 2 t5 6 bulb floro's from the local hydro shop in town(soon to get 200$ each)pioneer 2's i think 1 light to 2 dwc systems(10 plants to 2 systems). I took 15 clones from my 6 plants one of my blueberry's had sign's of a male so i pulled it and the clones from it. now im having some trouble with my clones i cant seem to keep the temp right seeings how where im growing is not attached to my house(its my shed LOL) and doesnt have climate control in it went in there today and my temp said 95 F in the veg side and my clones where wilting and weak so i moved them into my house now with a heat mat and light to see if they bounce back hopefully. so check out my pics and let me know what you guys think if anybody has questions feel free to ask.

so i decided to move my veg room inside the house now for the fact that my clones just from a night started to look allot better have just put one clone and two of my seedlings in one of my dwc systems. So as i went into my flowering room tonight and was inspecting my plants i have found two more males not having good luck but im saving the males and reverting them back to veg now for future use maybe some cross pollination in the future sounds kinda fun well here is some more pics check them out.

Looking good man. Very similar to the setup I ended up using for my perpetual. Im trying various expirements atm to see what nutes I can do without, to simplify my process. So far on the expirement block is "Bud Ignitor" and "Overdrive". Anyhow, your setup looks right, and should you have any questions, feel free. Ive tried a few things myself.

Good advice is to buy some female seeds from a reputable source, plant two or three of each flavor, and wean back to the baddest mother youve ever had. Being able to clone 8-10 off each mom each month, willl help you keep those tubs full of choice gals, no men!! Amazing my moms stay alive and I only use 2 100hps running tandemly. Nutes changed monthly. Sadly, the moms are the only ones so simple.

man your system looks good too very similar to mine i love the dwc for some reason in veg and for the nuts im using flora nova grow for veg and the flora nova bloom for flowering as they have worked well in the past is the nutes you are talking about( Bud Ignitor and overdrive) additives or all out nutes.

I have a similar situation. I have 5 plants in an ebb and flow system. I'm kind of worried because of the probability. But the solutions I came up with are:
1. clone them, so I know they are fem.
2. make one of the females go hermie by screwing with its lighting. From what I have been reading, it seems this will cause feminized seeds(can anyone more experienced validate this?).

UPDATE:


ok guys here is a little update nothing much to report but went out and got a ppm meter because i couldnt figure out why my fan leaves where getting burned and curled on the tips well found out my tap water i been using was at 250 ppm before my nutes so after adding them the ppm was well over recommended so i started using distilled water from the store and it seems to be working great they are loving it but my ph in the water is still fluctuating allot(like almost a point a day) could this be because of the temp of the water should i get a chiller to keep it around 58 F i cant think of any other reason it would be doing this. Anyway Put two more of my clones in the dwc system and they are doing great. Also getting new hydro farm t5 6 bulb floro tomorrow will post pics of that when its hanging but here is some pics you guys could check out.

UPDATE:
ok guys got the lamp today and dam if anybody is wondering about these t5 lamps i highly suggest them this thing puts off 30000 lumens and and half the heat of a MH you can definitely tell from the pics. The clones are loving it and for the ladies in flowering they have grown another 2". I'm using cheap ass CO2 system now LOL 12g little tanks for a bb gun but three seem to work pretty good in my flowering room so here is some pics let me know what you guys think.

UPDATE CLONES:

ok just another little update got 9 of my clones and one seedling in my 2 dwc systems with the new light for about two days now and they are doing great the light seemed to help quite a bit and upped the nutes few says ago as well to about 650 ppm the roots have grown quite a bit pics wont upload right now will try again later tonight.

hey guys forgive my spelling i spilled eer o my keyboard so utill i get a ew one im screwed lol anyway bear with me set up ew dwc systems the transparent ones made the water way way to hot ow im getting allot better temps around sixty five F to seventy F so cant wait to see they have grown quite a bit though check out some pics let me know what you think.

flowering is going great day 23 and they are really starting to pack on some weight im pretty happy with the results so far pics are kinda crappy so sorry getting a new cam soon.

so i went out yesterday and got the black and white plastic and did my entire flowering room took me 12 hours but looks good pics in a few when the lights come on and got some bud xl additive never used it if anybody has any comments on it that would be great.
