alright this my first time growing.My babys still a sprout i have 1 6500k 28w on it and its looking good.Question 1: i have 1 6500k(the one i mentioned)about 6 2700k 27w and 3 4100k 28w .At the most right now i can use 7 cfls for my plant,should i buy more 6500ks or do you guys think id be able to use what i have?Question 2:i was also wondering when do i start using more light?is their a certain stage i should wait for until i go full out or should i have used all lights from the get go?

I say what you have will work but more light cant hurt as long as you can control the extra heat. I usually wait until the first full leaves for full light.

Agreed, 6500k is better for veg and the 2700k for flowering. I wait till they have hit there growth spurt before I give full light (2-4 weeks from seed) or like above about first full leaves. I have 9 cfls for 1 plant and they work fine just keep them close during flowering so the plant doesn't stretch like a beast.

i used as many 6500k CFL's of various wattage's, largest being 30W. at most i had around 150watts made from 14 18 24 and 30watt bulbs, this was enough to get 2 plants to healthy and very bushy plants with no stretching. took me 2 months tho. after all that they ended up male.

dude i would say 4 28w 6500k's would be perfect to start off one plant. just keep adding one every few days of veg. and i did by the end just add any CFL i could find of any K rating ( i didnt flower with CFL's)

You can do 4-5 lights tops. Dont waste too much time and money, now wheres my damn rep? bahahaaa

You have a good amount of light for one plant. When you start flowering you may want to upgrade with more cfls, but if not, I think you would still be able to make it work with those in flowering, depending on your other conditions.

you can grow one plant with a minimum of 4 cfls. one from 4 different angles. of course the more the merrier. I have grown a single plant with 4 cfls and no nutes and yielded about 22 grams dry.

This is my personal opinion you can do one plant easy with that many
Just remember to reflect it back in small tight space
dont have a 5 foot plant under this light LST and maybe even crop
also Sea of Green with one plant will surprise you
