that's a huge harvest man.. honestly that right there would last more about a year maybe even longer than that because i don't smoke much. Only reason i'm growing though is because i don't wanna work through any middle man. And i'm tired of shwag weed that gives you a headache (that's all that's in this area).
lol, I hear ya with the schwag. We don't smoke often either. It will probably last us a very long time, but we're probably going to give some to my wife's mother. She's got medical issues so she can use it.
yeah i'm planning to "give" some to a few close friends so they can "give" to people they know. Other than that the rest will stay with me and i'll be drinking some delicious egg nog watching elf (mandatory holiday movie if you haven't seen it) laughing my ass off this holiday season with whatever chick i happen to land on at that time.

10 day flush. The dark period, I don't think it made a huge difference. I noticed some fattening of buds. It won't hurt to try. I've noticed more difference from yesterday to today really. They've gotten a lot smaller. Lost quit a bit of moisture last night. Humidity is down to 52%, was 65-70% yesterday. No signs of mold so that's great.
that harshness is you smoking all the plant chemicals when dried all that harshness goes away and you just get smooth smoke. normally before smoke you let dry for a week then cure for at least 1 week then its totally smokeable true flavor doesn't come out of good strains though for at least a month of cureing
I'm hoping to get a couple of zips off of this LED grow then I'm strictly going 600 Watt in my jardin, running two waterfarms. With my nursery and my tent, I hope to get up to an elbow a month. I have a friend that gets severe headaches, migraines at times and weed makes him feel much better. Right now he spends about $500 a month on smoke. I hope to provide for him for cheap once my equipment is all paid for.

I'm not sure about the dry weight. I'm either not going to have one or I'm going to have to borrow a scale from someone. It's crazy to think how much is hanging but it probably won't be much more than an oz if it's that much.I'm beginning to think of my 5 flowering Bubbles, that none of them are of the gum pheno.. these plants actually reek and there are no pink pistils or calyxes

Do the stem snap test. If it snaps pretty easily its ready to cure. On that note i was fixing to drive to Pittsburgh from ohio to go to Htgsupply.com and get me 150w grow lamp since the local hydro store here only sells 300w+ hps lamps those run over 100 easily. the 150w is only 70 bucks.
I did the stem test. They were ready, although I'm going to keep a close eye on them over the next couple days.
If the stem snaps easily, you are beyond ready to cure. You want a crispy outside and a stem that bends before snapping. That is when you begin to cure, while a small bit of moisture is left in the center.
they dried pretty quick its only been a couple days right?
Yea, I thought it was a bit odd. It did get pretty cold the past couple nights. I left the windows open and it dipped to 32 degrees, was probably 40 in the room when I woke. I'm keeping an eye on them in case they're still too moist for jars. So far so good. Stems didn't really snap, they had a nice crisp bend to them, which from what I've read is better than having them snap.
Aye, it is. If they easily snap, all the moisture is gone and all the curing in the world won't change a thing.
I just opened the jar to check on them, they don't really smell like pot. More like dead grass. Is that normal? No signs of mold, buts seem a bit more soft and stickier than they did when I put them in the jar.
