i cut only ONE finger leaf out of whole fan leaf. So the light goes down thru to lower internode flowers. It works well, plants stays healthy and you still have your fan leaf on ;)))

but thanks for saying im a stand up guy to the haters who ever they are
Ratfucks never show their faces and they're always busy blaming others for their bullshit. ANYWAY, add more lighting. I skirt my grow with flouresent so the bottom can get some light too. I grow in F&D so when the table's flooded you can reposition the plants by moving them by the roots. I only prune yellow leaves that often occur on my moms when the system is cut back when I'm not cloning. Sometimes depending on how thick the growth is I do, do some leaf pruning but you can't just cut any leaf. It's very important that your plants have good healthy leaves.

So, the guy at my local store has been telling me that at day 21 of flower I should hack off ALL LOWER GROWTH. All of it.... This guy is an experienced grower and so far he has been right about everything he has told me. I know because I often don't listen only to find out he was right lol. What say ROI? I see the logic behind both point of views here

That's funny, it's in the last three weeks I do some thinnin too. But then would you send just anyone into your orchard with a saw and trust him with your trees. Are you sure he said at three weeks....

Positive, as he wrote a schedule down for me. He also suggests that I pinch everything above a certain level to help induce "bushier" plants (as I've been having trouble with plants growing too big lol). Yes, he said at day 21 stop pinching and cut ALL LOWER GROWTH
