I still make cowboy coffee at home put a coffee pot on with no center dump some grounds in it and let it boil.....crack an egg in it to settle grounds and Man it will open your eyes ...........great coffee

Well up here in igloo land Mcpukes changed their coffee about 4 years ago and it is way better than even our beloved Tim hortons..++++ about every 4 months they have 2 weeks of free coffee which is the best ever.......We mostly brew our own at home...Hamilton Beech 12 cup brew station and some Maxwell House.....We do the old cowboy style up at the Lake or camp site....
This friend of ours who we think might be a pole smoker buys fresh beans mail order straight from Columbia and roasts and grinds them himself.....Yuck....tastes like a tree....He tries to tell me that is what coffee is supposed to taste like....Well I'll just stick to our shitty old processed stuff we get at the local supermarket.

I haven't had McD coffee in quite a while but isn't it Newman's Own? As for Starbuck's, I think the high prices (at least for plain coffee) are a myth. The largest size just went up here in Maine with the new year, to $2.41 for the largest size. I believe that is less than the largest DD price, not much difference in size. I can't stand that DD swill, but I have friends who will go way out of their way for a DD. Of course, I'd do the same for a Starbuck's.

The McDonalds coffee around me is ass, the person I work with makes me stop there in the morning from time to time. Just terrible. I brew Blue Mountain and bring it with me.

Ditto. I love BKs Iced Mocha. Hate McDi actually prefer bk iced coffee to mcd's.... but mcd's is right next to my house so when i leave my house i just go right there for a latte. do love me some coffee
