Purple Reefer

One aspect that I also find interesting is the purple potency debate, for those that have collected a few plants that produce Purple buds under any conditions like certain Black Russian phenotypes we have noticed something that seems to be consistent. When growing out females of a hybrid that have both color females and non colored females the colored one seems to always be less potent. Now in our case this is to be expected with Sputnik white/green females being more A-13 dominant but I have traveled far and wide and have yet to smoke purple weed that I would consider elite.

I had given up the search for really great and grape tasting reefer untill about a year ago when a friend Sticky Lungs brought me a few buds of Urkle and a cutting.

Working with our Space Queen male we created this new cross in seed form we call Querkle.
There is no better Purple weed on the market
It dosn't herm like GDP
It dosnt taste like shit like Mendo Purps
It actually produced copious amounts of grape bud from seed even from a 5 pack

Its probably my favorite Indica.

Querkle

Your going to see lots of this girl :)

I think the gdp in cali is pretty damn good.
Data indicates while some people like it its just because they havnt had better. It was created by a selfing method and is extremly prone to Herming out. It also has a very high leaf to pistil ratio and it dosn't produce very much resin for hash making.
I was at a dispensery last week and it was maybe the worst looking plant in there line up.
I see a few pot plant in my job and I would never give out bogus info facts is facts :)

So what do you think is the best purple strain for indoor growing?
Well I am obviously influenced but I and many others feel that Querkle is one of the best new hybrids to come out in a long time.
Lets look at some Querkle pictures grown from seed by others.

I grow some Sweet Purple from paradise seeds and the buds are really dark solid purple. The fan leaves are green but the actual buds are solid purple and have a very distinctive smell with lots of purple crystals. They do well inside and produce tight nugs. There are 2 pheno and the one I brough up for my chosen mom is the pheno that gives a strawberry taste when smoked. Its a very nice high producueing very purple plant with an excellent high.Much more purple and darken then those shown

The Lavender from Soma and the lavender from the West coast is completely different.
This is West Coast lavender from Eugene!

Since the ducth don't reveal there parentage we can only guess what they have done with it once in the EU.

The Green bud in the Center is Somas lavender and the rest is from the Eugene Cutting you be the judge??
