1st Grow 1st SCROG pics!

This is my first grow. I decided to ScRoG because of limited height and space. I plan to fill a 2ft x 3ft screen. These babies are a month old and are under a 400watt M/H , 4 5000k sunstick floro's and 2 bright ass cfl's for an added touch. I plan to switch to HPS for flowering. So....What do you think???? Oh yeah, Thanks BillyBob...:joint:

the 400w would cover that on its own, but with the extra lighting, should be even nicer buds!!!

best of luck with the grow, and can't wait to start seeing the screen fill out!

you will break branches, trust me. i think i broke probly like 8 in my screen. 6 of them healed by 2 were complete breaks. twisty ties and zip ties work wonders when training. i train a branch back down after its 2 inches above the screen.

goin good man. im all done with the work(training, trimming, etc). except i gotta change the res tonight or tommorow. now im just sitting back and watching this bitch flower. i'll have new pics tonight or tommorow.

dude i even broke the 2 tops off of one plant. like almost a complete break. but i put i back with some tape and is completely healed.

i think that screen should be higher, arnt them plants too small for a screen yet, i would have topped if i was you. or let the plants grow some more.
arnt you supp. to stretch the plants,so they grow more too, and this screen is to hold all the heads, and try to get equal lite, but i mite be wrong.
i would just think that plants that size,can hold there selfs up, why the screen?.
good luck, ill be watching,never seen a scrog from start to finish.

crazymental check out my scrog. the screen isnt there to hold up the plants. its there so the plants will grow horizontally into the screen like ivy. and once flowering time comes, every budsite is on the same plane. so you can keep your lights really close, you dont have to deal with the small shitty buds at the bottom. for indica varieties you place the screen 8-10 inches above medium. hybrids 12-14 and sativas 18-20. i htink hes got it right. and yeah i would have topped b4 the screen but its not necessary, all the branches get so much light in a scrog they pop up above the screen and then you train them back down through the holes. constantly weaving.

One plant is about 13" and the other is about 10"-11" . I topped them both last week. Maybe a bit too late but oh well.They were in their 5th-6th node..I think it will be fine. I have 4 ft of horizontal screen. Im gonna veg for a while to fill it up about 60% or so then hope for as many buds sites as possible.

lol all im doing now is sitting and watching this thing flourish. ive already done all the machine work lol. tonight i changed the res. 4/8th bloom, 3/8th grow, and 1/8th liquid karma. mixed up 40 gallons. but your right i am a scrog maniac. wait till you see what i have planned for next grow.:evil::hump::evil:

I hope u get a girl. man i remember those days of the first angle bend in the stem. boviously u can see its in my first post on Billybob Scrog. lookin good bro. let its veg. i think the number one rule in a proper scrog is patience. just wait bro. just wait.
