Tap Water.

Why not buy a Brita filter, or the like? They're cheap and effective. For $20, my girl got one the other day that included a cheap TDS meter.

I have tested the brita pitcher filter it took the tap water from 280-290ppm to 200 still not what I wanted....

I used to freak out about the tap water and spent a bunch of money installing RO systems and honestly during a side by side comparison, i didn't see any difference in the growth quality from using tap rated 100-300 ppm compared to RO water at 0-50 ppm. I just let the tap sit out a couple of days and everything is good to go. Guess tap has different qualities everywhere you go.

The one she bought claims to scrub down to double-digit PPM's. Haven't verified that myself yet. But yeah, 200 seems high for a brand-new unit. Definitely tasteable.
