Alright it wasn't the socket, it was the bulb. User error. When I tested before I didn't reset my ballast so it naturally wouldn't come on. When lights went off last night I waited till it cooled and screwed in my MH Bulb. This morning it was on no problem. So more than likely it is in fact my bulb. I haven't purchased a bulb yet because wasn't sure if it was the socket of bulb, either way I need a new HPS bulb. The place I ordered the light from said they'd send a new one, in 5-7 biz days. So my question is for now, my MH light for 5-7 bizz days ok?? Or do I need to fork the cash out and get a HPS today.. I don't want to upset them, or is it not too much a big deal? Please help...

Just go buy a new socket assemby from the hydro store . U can probaly replace just the socket but thats if it comes out of the assembly then you have to search around town for a match . Less headaches to just get a new socket assembly.

No it was the bulb, I'm using a MH right now in my flower, which is what I'm wondering if it stresses the plants the change of light..? I may have to wait 2 weeks before the new bulb gets here.... or should I just buy one today and fork out $100 that I don't want to want to spend.....

Mh for the first couple weeks of flower is acually benifical! It will keep your plants from streaching too bad.
Are they sending you another bulb as a repacment or do you have to pay for it? Unless you are getting a deal nothin wrong with supporting your local hydro store. But like i said your plants should like the MH for the time being.

Gotta love free!

Its up to you man. If i had a free bulb on the way, I would wait.
But again its always good to have a back up. For things just like this.
I was cleaning out some of my stuff last weekend and i went thru my bulbs and cleaned them all.....I added them up and its close to 450 dollars in extra bulbs not counting the ones in my lights. Lil over protective yes I know, lol.

Nice to see you gets some roots ! What did that take 10 days? I'm still waiting on day 6 i believe . I,m not sure what to do about the dome if some are rooted some are not .They say when there rooted that they dont need all the humidity . Mabey stick them in another flat without a dome . They may still need some heat though. I'm struggling to maintain 64 degrees in my room today . I started flowering too , on day 2 now !

Nice to see those roots! No worries about the mold just mix a lil peroxcide and water in a spray bottle and blast it off with the jet stream. It will come right off.

As soon as I transferred into these larger cubes I discovered it was only the paper that was molding... Here's today's pics.... Happy Columbus day! I really needed to go to the bank today. Boo

Those who say they work good have no data or proof to prove it , most say they are not worth the effort because c02 production is minimal to none .
Ya those things are kinda pointless, they stink, you have to change them out every couple weeks and who knows how much they really help. Man you are better off turning a couple grows and investing in a co2 bottle or generator.
