well the key is to get a timer that does 1 minute waterings so as not to cause the hydroton to float. some water pumps have a valve type thing on them and you can close it to like half way to make it fill much slower. I opted for the digital timer.Looks great, and the suspected hydroton-root-floating plants theory doesnt seem to be holding up with your now bigger babies, this makes me happy as I am flooding with hydroton only for my clones as well.
